FANTASTIC. John and staff made excellent recommendations. Two original signature drinks we fell in love with. The best scallops and swordfish we have ever had. Did not expect the level of service and quality of food - we will be back!

Salt + Ash provides a memorable and fantastic dining experience, often described as one of the best meals in the Keys. The restaurant has an elegant and lovely atmosphere, though its open concept layout in a family resort can lead to noise levels that travel and get rather high. The service is consistently excellent, outstanding, and top notch, with knowledgeable and kind staff.
The food is divine, delicious, and really great, with everything from drinks and apps to dessert cooked to perfection. The menu highlights seasonal ingredients and local farms, offering a farm to table dining experience with sophistication. Notable dishes include the grilled oysters, tomato salad, olive oil poached swordfish, sous vide swordfish, fried whole snapper, local fish of the day like tilefish or triple tail, charred carrots, smash burger, Parker house rolls, and chicken that is melt in the mouth. For dessert, the key lime tart and chocolate lava cake are praised, and the coconut sorbet is called divine. Cocktails like the Kill Dill are also highlights. One minor note is that the restaurant's restrooms are located outside the main dining area. Reservations are highly recommended.
