Why is a restaurant closed for months bc they went on vacation ? But you don't find out until you drive all the way there?! It's florida, everyday is a vacation. I've been told their prices are way too high anyway.

I have been going here about twice a week for almost 2 years and never had a bad meal. Brenda is very choosy about how she cooks the food and asks how things came out so she can make improvements. I have had chicken fried steak at nearly all the local breakfast spots and Brenda's is hands down the best. Brenda's chicken fried steak is good quality and she cooks it in a very hot fryer so the breading is cooked through to the meat. If the fryer is not hot enough then the breading will get gummy so the cook has to be patient and make sure the fryer is hot enough. Her home fries are russets and fresh potatoes. The service is homey - they greet me and bring me my favorite drink, made the way I like it, as soon as I come in. The food is good but the atmosphere is the reason I come. The place always has locals in it, chatting with each other and the waitresses, so there is just this noise of friendliness when you come in.

I love this place! Everything is fresh and delicious. Go where the locals go for breakfast and lunch. Their Chicken Salad sandwich and Turkey Club are amazing. The friendly service is excellent.

Family run am with great service and good food. The corned beef hash was on point, I prefer it crispy. All of what you need for breakfast and none of what you don’t.

Waitress was kinda rude when I asked about something on the menu. Service was OK after that. Food was decent, small portions, the ham is so terribly salty. Inside is very warm, outside seating would've been more comfortable.
