We enjoyed the food and the excellant staff including the chef. I told him what I like and he prepared an outstanding mussel dish that was out of this world. Can't wait to go back

Everytime I come to Dunedin, I have to stop in and have dinner with Cafe Alfresco. The food and service are outstanding and if you love grilled Chicken Livers, you can't beat these. Service is friendly and considerate.

5 stars all around! We were extremely impressed with our waiter Kaveh, he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The food was extremely fast and on point! Huge shout out to the Chef for making me a blackened Grouper fettuccine Alfredo, it was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back!
I'm new to the area and tried Cafe Alfresco on a Saturday. It was extremely busy but our server Jodie was FANTASTIC! She managed tons of tables and made it look effortless and she greeted us each time she came by with a huge smile and remembered everything extra we asked for. The hamburger was really good as well. I will definitely go back and request Jodie as a server!

Amazing service, but my pasta dish was not great. It was clearly just canned tomatoes mixed with pasta with a little bit of garlic and basil. It’s a nice place for a sit down family dinner, but don’t expect great food.

Excellent chicken salad sandwich and BLT. They put their own twist on these items and it works well. Went back the next day just to have them again.
