For being a concession stand on an isolated island this is a great option if you need food while visiting. The picnic tables by the water are so nice to sit at. Our kids enjoyed having a bit of ice cream on a hot day. Don’t expect anything gourmet - but it is still a great option.

Super nice cafe with friendly and helpful staff. It’s great to know you don’t have to bring food and drinks with you before heading to the island. Prices are reasonable and honestly better than I expected for an island spot. There’s also a gift shop with lots of cool stuff like souvenirs, t-shirts, caps…And the island- absolutely amazing! A place you have to visit. Worth every penny!

We followed the GPS directions on their Google search site, do not follow them. It will get you to a dead end. We turned around and went to Honeymoon State Park to use the Ferry to get to the Cafe. Unfortunately the Ferry service is not available at the time. There is no statement on their homepage or any information that the ferry service is closed. So, pretty disappointed we couldn't eat there, and wasted a lot of time trying to get there. If they would post something on their homepage, it would help a lot. 😉

had the autumn harvest bowl, served by my adorable tattooed celiac pal and an unsweetened fruit pop in a can. Delicious. It was not quite enough for my second and final meal with walk to and from. Bought a share size peanut butter snickers on the walk home. Unrelated: Tampa doesn’t really do sidewalks.

This used to be one of my favorite places to eat! Healthy food, always great portions— regardless of whether you order online via DoorDash or if you go inside the restaurant. Today, however, I was given only a fraction of what is usually put in the bowls. I even mentioned something to the new person making them.. and he said “no this is how they are supposed to be.” It’s literally not even half of what you usually get. Look at all of the empty space in the bowls! Definitely not worth the price anymore. ?Photos on left are of what it’s advertised as.. photos on right are what they gave me.

I saw a story a while back about sweetgreen looking to use robot workers to make bowls and lower costs as they were failing to turn a profit. After visiting I’m not surprised at either of them failing to make money nor trying to use robots. We ordered online at 8:30pm (they close at 10) and they were out of every protein except for salmon. The worker came up and said they were out of white rice so we agreed to switch to wild rice. 30 seconds later she came back up to say they were out of the hot honey chicken and it would be 25 minutes until it was ready so we agreed to switch to the other chicken. Then she came back up and said they were out of that, so asked if they had steak she said no so then we asked what she did have and she said salmon. We asked if we could replace it with salmon and she agreed after thinking about it silently for 30 seconds. After all this, half of the sweet potatoes in each bowl were raw. After paying 17 dollars per bowl I threw over 2/3 of mine away. Overall, a bad experience, especially for the price, and if I could bet on them to continue to lose money I’d take out a second mortgage.

This is the best salad however their system and deliveries are the worst I’ve seen in any business. This evening once again after waiting all evening about one hour to get my dinner it shows delivered, but was never delivered. I couldn’t tell you how many times does this happened. And how many times the order has been wrong. It’s a consistent problem and it’s sickening. Especially considering the amount that’s being charged. The worst part about this is there’s no one to contact everything gets directed digitally immediately and there’s no way to fix it before the problem or as the problem occurs. What a complete disappointment.

I came here Monday 7/22, My experience was not the best to say the least. There were 3 girls working in the front It was extremely busy and you could clearly tell they were exhausted. There were many people waiting for a long time. It was no problem for me as you could see they were doing their best, but i felt so bad. Their faces were all red. It seems to me the GM doesnt know how to run a business. How can only 3 people work with that many customers? Do better sweetgreen.

My husband came here on Thursday around 4pm and got food with a friend. He said he got steak and broccoli. By 8pm he was complaining that his stomach was hurting, and by 9 pm he was violently throwing up. He got food poisoning that lasted well into the next day. Couldn’t go to work, wouldn’t get out of bed. Wouldn’t recommend the food here.
