Thumbs up for my first visit to Carvor's Fish House. You won't find a better grouper sandwich in the Tampa Bay area at this price point. $15.99 and it comes with a side. Everything tasted great, nice outdpor patio and a solid selection of canned beer/bevs. I'll be back!

The best grouper ever! Even on a hot day, the porch dining was pleasant. Our server was so attentive. Everything was served fresh and hot. A local merchant recommended it and I’m so happy with our choice.

The food was worth the long wait to be served. Character comes from worn vintage pieces to a wall fountain in the porch and garden eating area. Place your order and grab a drink from the refrigerator. You receive a number and wait for your meal to be brought to you. The Blackened Grouper sandwich was fantastic; however, the request for no tarter did not get read by the chef as the cashier definitely wrote it it down and highlighted it on the order. The Grouper bites were amazing as well, light, crispy and piping hot served with tarter and cocktail sauce. The onion rings were good. The hushpuppies were the best of all! Fresh, crisp outside, soft inside and served very hot! The sauce resembled a much better version of Thousand Island. It was a great accent to the puppies. During our meal, staff checked on us and made sure that we had all we needed and made a suggestion as well. That was a nice touch! Along side of the help-your-self water, there were several bowls available for your pup! Thoughtful consideration on their part. This was a great lunch area for outside dining.
