The locals at HOB recommended this place for the best grouper sandwich around - and they weren’t wrong! I had the Buffalo grouper sandwich and my wife had the blackened grouper sandwich. Both were phenomenal. Best seafood we had on our 10 day vacation hands down.

Great food and atmosphere. Scallops, fish, and shrimp all well prepared. Scallops may have been the best restaurant prepared scallops I have ever had. Tuna salad sandwich was also great. Everyone in our party was extremely satisfied with their food. Service was excellent with very friendly staff.

Prices were decent for the amount of food you receive. 2 of us had fish and chips . Perfectly cooked, four nice pieces of fish served with fries. 12.99 each. 1 of us had fried shrimp basket also cooked to perfection. Outdoor seating only, order inside and they bring out to you. We will be back!!

A really good place to get lunch or dinner. They close early at 1700 daily but the food is good and it's nice sitting outside. A very simplistic place with nice employees and it's not overwhelming in price either.

I make a point of going at least once a week the fish n chips is very nice the fish flakes easy and it's not greasy, the grouper sandwich is awesome the staff are very helpful they like to see regular customers and they talk to you but in a robotic way they're genuinely interested in you their keylime bar is a fresh dessert with good flavor as is everything I've had from there.

The only downside is that when I get out of work it's too late for me to get the best grouper sandwich in the bay area. I totally understand why they close a little earlier than some establishments and it makes it even more special when I get a chance to visit. The atmosphere is delightful, the facility is clean and inviting and the food amazing

Boy was I thoroughly impressed. Owned by Jensen Brothers Seafood, this quaint seafood spot offers a delightful array of fried baskets and sandwiches. Upon recommendation from seasoned regulars, I couldn't resist trying their fish and chips, and I'm glad I did. The fish was impeccably flaky, and the batter, lightly crisp without a hint of greasiness. Equally satisfying was the fried shrimp basket, with each piece bursting with freshness and seasoned/cooked to perfection. I'm already planning my return to sample their enticing fish spread and key lime pie. Carvors Fish House has undoubtedly earned a spot on my list of favorite seafood joints.

First time eating at Carvor's, and it won't be the last! Hubby and I went there to pick up some fresh fish from Jensens Seafood Market next door, owned by the same family. Figured while we were there, we'd try lunch at Carvors. Live locally and had read good reviews. Did not disappoint. We started with the she crab soup, which was the only slightly disappointing part of the meal. While piping hot, and hearty, it lacked flavor. Having had fabulous she crab soup in SC, and having tried numerous others along the East Coast, this soup needed more seasoning and definitely a good shot of sherry, which in our opinion, makes a great she crab soup and/or any seafood bisque. Split the fried scallop basket with onion rings! Absolutely outstanding!!! Large fresh New England sea scallops, perfectly fried in a light batter, sweet and tender! Hard to find in FL, and a good sized portion! And the onion rings were delicious too, hand cut, crispy and yum! Will definitely be back to try their other offerings, ie, their hush puppies, conch fritters, and fried shrimp! You order inside, , food brought out to you, and all seating is outside on a nice patio, with lots of shade, very pleasant. They have a wide selection of local beers, and some wines. Definitely recommend.

Ordered the shrimp tacos island style and a fried shrimp platter. Both were delicious! Would definitely recommend this place!

Amazing fresh seafood. Super friendly staff, you order like you're at a deli. Seating is outside, they bring your order to you. In the Artistic District in Dunedin. Alcohol is single serve grabs from a fridge. Casual, cool & delish.
