This is a very popular place on the main avenue of Dunedin. Our family visits this place regularly for breakfast. My wife, her daughter, and her grand daughter frequently visit for breakfast. They enjoy the outside seating and bring a well behaved dog with them each time. They have a great menu with a great deal of choices for everyone. The food is always homemade and delicious. The pricing is reasonable. The waitress Sherry was friendly, polite and very helpful. My food came out in a timely manner and it was piping hot. It was cooked correctly and it was very delicious. I ordered a double bacon BLT and it was perfect! I had two fried eggs and some grits. This a great place for breakfast or lunch. They have a lot of customers each day so it can be congested at times. They seat you promptly so I feel it is worth the wait. I highly recommend that you add this place to your list of go to morning choices.

Three of us visited for lunch on September 23,2025. The menu is extensive, typical diner. The California chicken salad on a croissant was good but the croissant texture was not good. The small Greek salad was not an appealing presentation but tasted ok. The salad with tuna again looked awful. The burger looked delicious and the fries were noted to be very good. Perhaps more attention to presentation would help But truly the main reason that it will be a very long time , if ever, before our return was the truly rude service. The sever was just plain rude. I could hear the other servers interacting with their customers and knew it was just our bad luck to be seated at this section. Perhaps she was rattled by bringing the wrong drink orders for all three of us or maybe she was upset having to wait on the patio tables Whatever it was it was not good and certainly influenced our opinion and decision to ever return

We have been dining at Dunedin's Country Boy for 30+ years. This Diner is consistently clean, with excellent service and very good comfort meals. Ari, the new owner, now offers a 4% Discount for paying with cash! Plus he has expanded the Menu to include French dishes on Thursday. We always enjoy Country Boy!
