My Memphis born husband stopped smoking pork and beef when we discovered Eli's. Whenever family visits, getting Eli's BBQ is a MUST. WE have enjoyed their pork, beef, beans,, coleslaw and sauce for many gatherings. Most recently we hosted a very large party. All the food was so good, people wanted to know where we got it! Ronni and the staff are good, caring people. The value ion the food, the service and the warmth of the owners and staff make it a "gotta come back again often" place. At this time there is road work being done in front, that makes it a bit difficult to get to, but it is worth the effort. It's right on the Dunedin Trail, so you can go by bike, or walk a bit further than you are used to on Douglas..

A quaint, family owned BBQ shack located right on the Pinellas Trail in Dunedin. The staff is super friendly and the BBQ is very good. I love sitting at the picnic tables under the oak trees with the smell of the smoker in the background. They are only open Friday and Saturday. Cash only.

I've been coming here since before I moved to Florida. It was my Mom's favorite bbq place around and the people who work here are great with my son. I moved away for a while so I hadn't been in a out a year but after my mother passed I moved back out this way and I went back and the food is still as good as always.

Went for lunch, had heard a lot of good things. Service was fantastic! Cash only with seating outside. Food was really good, will be back go try more meats!
Chopped pork sandwich: super moist and delicious meat! BBQ sauce that came with it is good.
Half rack ribs: the meat was cooked well. I prefer my ribs with wet rub so I missed that but the cook was very good.
Coleslaw and baked beans sides were really yummy.
Sweet tea was delicious.

I got a brisket sandwich meal with black eye pea salad and baked beans. This sandwich was the worst i have ever had. To was 50% fat. Yet it was incredibly dry.

We drove up from South Sarasota and it was 100% worth the trip! We loved the food, rhe people and sittin' under the old oaks. A wonderful mini road trip was had!
