Eli's is only open Friday and Saturday so you plan accordingly. Great staff, super friendly and the food is delicious. I had the brisket sandwich and my wife had the chicken sandwich. We shared the baked beans. This is a must lunch stop while in Dunedin!!!!

Downtime smoky, fall off the bone BBQ and sides. Great folks behind the window. Always delish. Priced right. Simple atmosphere. Perfection.

Maybe just hit a bad day. Ribs were rubbery and lacking any character. Service was SUPER slow. The weather was perfect.

Super legit, family run BBQ joint just outside of town. Brisket and burnt ends were bursting with smoke flavor, if a touch on the dry side. Sides were all excellent, especially the honey baked beans. Reasonably prices. Pull up a picnic table and have a chat with some of the friendliest locals in Dunedin.

The food is so good but staff sometimes you say thank you they don’t even acknowledge you very rude but get past that and enjoy it

eli’s is just okay. i don’t get the hype. i’ve tried 3 different things. thought i’d try the ribs since i was in the mood and passing along the trail. ribs were all fat. coleslaw is nasty

Great brisket! Everyone is very nice and seating is shaded.

I really wanted to like this place after waiting awhile to try it. The woman at the front was delightful. Very friendly & engaging. The pulled pork and baked beans were OK. Nothing overly unique or special. The brisket was nearly inedible as it was extremely fatty. I couldn't even finish it. There was a puddle of liquified fat at the bottom of the container. The picnic tables outside are a nice area to eat in. I may give it another try with some of the other menu items.

My Memphis born husband stopped smoking pork and beef when we discovered Eli's. Whenever family visits, getting Eli's BBQ is a MUST. WE have enjoyed their pork, beef, beans,, coleslaw and sauce for many gatherings. Most recently we hosted a very large party. All the food was so good, people wanted to know where we got it! Ronni and the staff are good, caring people. The value ion the food, the service and the warmth of the owners and staff make it a "gotta come back again often" place. At this time there is road work being done in front, that makes it a bit difficult to get to, but it is worth the effort. It's right on the Dunedin Trail, so you can go by bike, or walk a bit further than you are used to on Douglas..
