The food is so good but staff sometimes you say thank you they don’t even acknowledge you very rude but get past that and enjoy it

I do wish that had the opportunity to meet Eli before he had past. THE LEGEND lives on in his recipes for the best BBQ in Dunedin!!!!

eli’s is just okay. i don’t get the hype. i’ve tried 3 different things. thought i’d try the ribs since i was in the mood and passing along the trail. ribs were all fat. coleslaw is nasty

I really wanted to like this place after waiting awhile to try it. The woman at the front was delightful. Very friendly & engaging. The pulled pork and baked beans were OK. Nothing overly unique or special. The brisket was nearly inedible as it was extremely fatty. I couldn't even finish it. There was a puddle of liquified fat at the bottom of the container. The picnic tables outside are a nice area to eat in. I may give it another try with some of the other menu items.

My Memphis born husband stopped smoking pork and beef when we discovered Eli's. Whenever family visits, getting Eli's BBQ is a MUST. WE have enjoyed their pork, beef, beans,, coleslaw and sauce for many gatherings. Most recently we hosted a very large party. All the food was so good, people wanted to know where we got it! Ronni and the staff are good, caring people. The value ion the food, the service and the warmth of the owners and staff make it a "gotta come back again often" place. At this time there is road work being done in front, that makes it a bit difficult to get to, but it is worth the effort. It's right on the Dunedin Trail, so you can go by bike, or walk a bit further than you are used to on Douglas..

We had an amazing catering experience that could have gone totally wrong but Eric and his team know what they’re doing!!!! My husband and I catered Eli’s for our rehearsal dinner and fed 50 people. They had written down the wrong date but had our food ready in an hour since we had a full party of people to feed! They are extremely caring and nice people and put so much love and soul into their food. My husband and I were so glad that we chose Eli’s , our whole family and friends LOVED the food!!! Thank you Eric and team!

A quaint, family owned BBQ shack located right on the Pinellas Trail in Dunedin. The staff is super friendly and the BBQ is very good. I love sitting at the picnic tables under the oak trees with the smell of the smoker in the background. They are only open Friday and Saturday. Cash only.

I've been coming here since before I moved to Florida. It was my Mom's favorite bbq place around and the people who work here are great with my son. I moved away for a while so I hadn't been in a out a year but after my mother passed I moved back out this way and I went back and the food is still as good as always.
