Happy cactus mexican cocina

In our lives we have dined at countless numbers of Mexican restaurants and this one is the best one in a very long time. We were greeted, seated, and served promptly by smiling friendly staff even on one of their busy Tuesday nights. The flavorful fresh salsa, guacamole, and chips were a perfect start. The tacos pollo and tacos carne asada con todo were perfectly seasoned as were the black beans and rice. The tacos came with sauces that took them to the next level. The mojito's were light and refreshing. If we had one criticism it would be that the Chuuros had very nice flavor but were a little doughy on the inside perhaps due to having rushed them through the frying process.
Otherwise, absolutely wonderful dining experience and this is now our favorite Mexican restaurant.

This place is absolutely amazing. Down to the chips, salsa and guac. I've never had a bad meal, or bad experience. Everything is always SO GOOD.

Try the Enchiladas Mineras, the Al Pastor, or the Alambre!

Have dined here often, food is always delicious.

Love this place! By far the most authentic in the area love how it’s family owned. My husband and I go there at least once a month. The food is delicious!

Authentic food with no apologies and they get it right every time. Their Birria tacos are the best we have ever had. Crispy finish with the prefect blend of protein and cheese. Their street tacos have great flavor and their fresh made salsas are unique and stay true to their family recipes. This place is amazingly good and they do not cater to the tex/mex crowd. They do what they do well and have not changed their recipes to appease the masses. This not only preserves their flavor profiles which are amazing but it makes them unique. In a sea of Mexican restaurants this one is quite unique. Well done!

Best restaurant in Dunedin. Food is amazing and service is even better. The staff even went above and beyond to find a toy my daughter left in the booth. Very kind staff and delicious food.

WHERE IS THE Combination menu
I had to spend $75 on lunch just to have the variety I want.
Also, all the enchiladas have to be the same type. I have never seen this before.
I I really feel that this restaurant would be so busy it would grow out of its small size if they just paid attention and did a couple little things by having a combo platter where you can get a variety plate
Like a pick 3 or pick 4 of something.
Instead of having your customer be told by waitress that they cannot have that
I overheard other customers being told that by waitresses more than once since I’ve been going here . PLEASE Give the customer with the customer wants and you will be the best around thank you
