This restaurant is a hidden gem. I would put them up against any of the top steak houses in the Tampa Bay Area. Food is fresh and made to order. Salads are so big you only need 1 for 2 people. The steaks are tender and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend

HEW is a wonderful place to have a meal. Classy, quiet, great food and great town of Dunedin. Went for brunch but will return for dinner.

Overall it was great as always with service from everyone at this hotel. Although the hostess makes me never want to come back. When I arrived pretty much no greeting and asked if I had a reservation. Looking in restaurant not that many people in there. She said she could not seat me for another 45 min. I said even the chiefs table b/c not many people in there and she said no. I then walked away b/c of her attitude and calmed down and made a reservation that was available in 5 minutes. I then came back and said I have a reservation now can you seat me. She didn't like but then went and set up a place that took a while b/c she went and talked to multiple people. When she came back I was sitting right next to hostess stand and she said nothing to me. After it was now past my reservation time I asked if I could be seated and she said no she would in another 5 min. The meal was outstanding and service from my waitress and manager were outstanding. Even other waitresses came over and they were outstanding as well. I literally stay at this hotel once a month, have had 2 board meetings here, and 2 of my company Christmas parties here as well. Very frustrated the way I was treated.

The Delmonico steak and the bone-in fillet were incredible, cooked perfectly. The service was excellent. Cant wait to return and try all the other items on their menu.

When making the reservation it was stated that it was a set menu. It was Christmas Day so couldn't leave and try to find anything open. Yorkshire pudding was great. Prime rib was tough and no favor. The pork was all fat. The sides were ok. Desserts were ok. Very disappointed. It should of been disclosed that it was a set menu

Their holiday feasts are always delicious and bountiful! It's easily 2-3 meals for each person and they happily pack up anything you don't eat from this family style meal.

We had a Fabulous Christmas Eve Dinner at Hew! The atmosphere was so subtle and warm and everyone working there was so professional and friendly, running Hew like a Luxury Cruise Ship! We were so lucky to have Kaitlyn taking such perfect care of us. Her happy nature and wonderful service made everything pleasant for us . And the food offerings were so delicious as well. We never miss ordering the Seafood Beignets and the Lamb Breast and Bouillabaisse were just outstanding. The Lamb was so unique and mouthwatering, I can't wait to have it again! We look so forward to returning to Hew for another delightful evening!

Wildly overpriced. The tuna tartare appetizer was not at all worth the $32 charge. We don't mind spending money on great food but this was just mediocre. Service was really slow for being half empty. They upcharge for everything without making you aware of it. The beet salad was a good portion however it lacked heavily on the ricotta. The 6oz Linz filets were tender but came out like warm. Overall I would not eat here again but the venue is cute.
