We all had a great time at home plate on the trail
The food was excellent, the waitress (and all the other working people)are very friendly and polite
The biergarten is so comfortable to spent time. Also the live music was so good. Make you feel like at home.
We really enjoyed our time and we make sure to come back as soon as possible.
Thanks to ralph and moni

Pretty much only get pancakes here, unfortunately. It’s a shame because I’d eat here regularly if they didn’t so obviously reheat already cooked food. Chewy fried chicken, even the poached egg seemed pre made…this location is gold and everyone who works there seems sweet- please put some work into the kitchen and I’ll be there every weekend

I love this place! I was there last week and had Brandy as my server. She was so quick with the mimosas and recommended the gluten free toast, which was amazing!!! Definitely making this a weekly spot!

I went to Home Plate on the Trail - on a Sunday morning around 9:30. It wasn’t very busy , it was self seating . I sat at the counter and was ignored by an elderly server. I ordered coffee, it was the worst coffee I’ve ever had in my life- I didn’t even drink two sips of it. The coffee tasted like it was diluted and from the previous day( brown colored water). I ordered the “ triple” this consisted of cold tough bacon , dry toast and two extra small eggs. Probably the worst breakfast ever! It’s little wonder this place was dead. I didn’t complain, I just will never go there again.

They have a beautiful back patio.

Staff was overwhelmed and didn’t seem to know the menu. Food was fine, but unimpressive. I wouldn’t go back.

We had the pretzels, blackened chicken wrap, Florida Benedict, and the kids’ grilled cheese with fruit cup. The chai “latte” came without any milk. The home fries were by far the best part.

Our third time eating here and it was wonderful as always. The food was delicious — the Jäger schnitzel was perfectly cooked with rich, flavorful gravy, and the pastrami Reuben special was piled high and full of classic deli flavor. We sat outside and enjoyed the relaxed, cozy atmosphere right off the trail — such a great spot. Taylor, our waitress, really made the experience extra special. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Great food, great service, and a perfect spot to unwind.

Had breakfast twice now. They seem to want to overcook. Food bland both times. Had turkey sausage again yesterday and it was still moist. First time dried out/overcooked. Yesterday’s home fries with onion and green pepper had 2 small pieces of green pepper sprinkled with about 12 tiny onion pieces like on a White Castle. My daughter had a bowl with chicken, egg and I believe gravy but it was lacking any other ingredients like any vegetable. She said it was bland. We will try one more time for lunch since they have several German dishes my daughter is interested in. Other than that, nice little place-good seating, friendly staff. Service was on par but unremarkable between 2 different waitresses. Sat inside both times due to weather. We’re still hoping…
