Hidden gem on the causeway!
Hurricane Eddie’s is exactly what a good dive bar should be — laid back, full of character, and always welcoming. It’s got that local charm that’s hard to find these days. The bartender is fantastic — super friendly and on top of everything. You’ll always feel like a regular here, even if it’s your first time.
It’s open-air, which gives it a great beachy feel, and the prices are refreshingly reasonable. The food is way better than you’d expect from a little dive bar — definitely worth ordering. Plus, there are pool tables, darts, and just an all-around good vibe, especially if you're looking for something casual and unpretentious.
If I had one suggestion — they could use some better lighting in the parking lot. It’s easy to miss, and some people might not realize they’re open. A little live music now and then would take it up a notch too.
Still, this place is a solid spot to hang with friends, grab a drink, and feel like you’re part of the local scene. Don’t pass it by —
After the docks were destroyed at Marker 8 Grill we were looking for another place to eat lunch while out jet skiing. This is a great find with so much better food and choices, and just a short 2 block walk from where we park/anchor our waverunners. Although it is an open air bar/restaurant, it is air conditioned inside which is nice. The philly cheese steak is one of the best anywhere. Seasoned fries are fantastic. Service is always great.

The best beach side bar I have ever been to and I'm a Florida native! Very friendly, super quick and the food is absolutely delicious. I'm here anytime I can be!!!
2girls working 25 people in the building and they could only be attentive to the regulars sitting at the bar. Waited over 5 mins to get a drink at table before I got up to get it at bar. We had a group of 10 with 2-3 in each check and they couldn’t figure that out either. Everyone’s check was mixed together with each others. For a Saturday afternoon on a holiday weekend this to me sums up this location, Just as everyone who has had issues just like this for months can agree the service isn’t the best
Loved it,great service
New food menu
We stopped here for lunch and it was fantastic. The staff were awesome and the beer was good. Theres a pool table and bar games and a great atmosphere. The bar menu was varied and we tried a few items and the food is great quality and well cooked. Will visit again
It's a good place to drink by the beach if you're on the way to honeymoon Island the grouper sandwich did have bones in it. It was pretty affordable for everything that we had got I do recommend the boneless wings

Service sucked food was awful nothing like Eddie’s on Alt 19 omg it was a horrible experience sorry but we had friends and all we wont be coming here again
We were passing through... looking for a place to have lunch... there were cars in the parking lot... so thought that was a good sign...
While they do s/erve liquor... the lunch was very good... Marietta was our waitress... and was great... we would stop again when in the area...
Just ok, did not stay to eat.
Excellent food and service plus we were able to have our dogs on the patio area!
We had a retirement party for a friend here. We were a rather large group. They had enough bartenders there to handle all of us plus the regular patrons. Parking had to be the only thing that was bad. They offered us menus but we didn't want one, but we will most likely be coming back.
