Lonni's was a pleasant surprise. The sandwiches are good! Made on fresh homemade bread and the ingredients are fresh. You don't get that fresh homemade bread anywhere but Lonni's. It's her homemade recipe and you can tell! Lonni's is a small sandwich that does take out only. So, you won't find a table to sit at. However, don't let that stop you from stopping in to grab a sandwich. It's tucked into a small professional plaza. The ladies there are so nice and pleasant. Your sandwiches are made with great care. A small business that takes care of their customers. Stop by, you won't be disappointed.

I have been here several times and each time I have been totally satisfied from the greeting when you walk in to the very end they are so friendly and the food is delicious prices are also good for the amount of food you get. These sandwiches are amazing but it’s unfortunate I stopped going there because the service is awful and the ladies are all very rude and miserable. Plus, half the time they hang up on me or the line is busy and also takes 25 minutes to make one sandwich.

this was our first time ordering sandwiches at this sandwich shop. upon getting them home to eat our lunch, we found the sandwiches absolutely delicious, the bread was so fresh as were all the ingredients. very good sandwiches highly recommended and we will be going back, this may be a new regular place for us!
After reading rave reviews we went to Lonnie's. I had their famous Sunny Bird and hubby had the roast beef on the rice bread. As others mentioned, the bread is too thick. My sandwich was sweet which I did not like. Hubby liked his roast beef. Also, being our first time here, we did not realize there was a 4% credit card fee. If we had known, we would have paid cash. It's a one and done for us. $26 for 2 sandwiches.

The Sunny Bird is amazing and their wild rice bread. I always take a loaf home, so good. I have been getting sandwiches there for over 17 years. When I’m in Dunedin it’s always one of my favorite stops!

The bread is just delicious. My only complaint is, it's a lot of bread. It will definitely fill you up. Next time I'm going to ask for thinner slices. Need to thinly slice like my husband likes. I don't particularly care for it that timely sliced but I love different kinds of sandwiches. Big Rich cookies can be found here as well. This is take out only there is no sit down service here. Very friendly staff. Located in a little strip mall towards the corner. I would not have expected this to be here.
