Best American-Chinese food I had since I was a kid back in Brooklyn. Better than most sit-down restaurants, let alone takeout.
Ordered Egg Rolls, Beef LoMein, Sichuan Shrimp and PahTai. All seasoned well, not salty, fresh ingredients and large portions.
Will definitely try again before we leave town.

Nothing in my $40 delivery had any flavor
The shrimp egg rolls had 2 uncooked small shrimp and cabbage
Nothing else
Mongolian beef was so chewy and full of fat had to spit out each piece
Fried rice obviously was made of whatever left stuff they had laying around
I am staying at a hotel and even offered it to the front desk workers and they said no
I had to throw everything out
I absolutely called the restaurant and expressed my displeasure in the food and all of a sudden the lady could not speak English

Sichuan shrimp. This is the small portion. Better than a seafood style resturant. Every bite full of flavor! Use chopsticks. Eat slow & enjoy!

So excited this place is open again after being affected by back to back hurricanes! Let’s all support this small business!

We went here because I've been chasing my "holy grail" of scallion pancakes, which seems to be like trying to find a unicorn or leprechaun in this area of Pinellas county. The other reviews looked fine and I was fired up to get the s.p. We walked in just before 5pm and were the only ones there, gave our order and waited, standing because the tables and chairs were scuzzy looking. I ordered the scallion pancakes and steak on a stick, I like to take the steak off the stick and sandwich it between two wedges of s.p. and dip it in the sauce. Yum!! There was also fried wontons, bourbon chicken with fried rice and egg roll, sweet and sour chicken with what rice, some crispy noodles and fortune ? s.
The scallion pancakes were heinous!!! Completely saturated in oil!! So much so that even blotting them off with paper towels it STILL was a mouthful of grease. I attempted to fry them some more to try and cook the excess oil out. They were in a dry non-stick pan and you could see them bubble with their grease. They crisped up a bit and I took them out and laid them on yet more papertowel and they left them see thru with grease. It didn't really help, now I just had a mouthful of crispy outside greasy muck in the middle ☹️ I have a suspicion they tried to deep fry them which is WRONG, they are pan fried and DRAINED and you don't pack them in a plastic container!!?
The steak on a stick was grisly and I swear glued to the stick!! I make better teriyaki steak skewers ?
Bourbon chicken was meh, didn't have much veggie and chicken seemed old. The pork fried rice accompaniment was neither pork or fried, seemed day old rice mixed with some tumeric with a few mini chunks of ?(pork, ham) and a couple peas tossed in. The egg roll was an egg roll wrapper wrapped around a bit of cabbage and that was all and no flavor. Their crispy noodle side tasted undercooked and old, you could taste flour and they were VERY pale. The only two edible items were the fried wontons, perfectly fried AND DRAINED, and the chicken of the Sweet and sour chicken, again perfectly fried AND DRAINED!! However the white rice seemed more like sticky sushi rice, very short grained and very sticky, gummy. And the sweet and sour sauce was just the ubiquitous red, sticky goo you see everywhere around here. No veg, no pineapple, no effort. Sweet and sour chicken/pork here is like the Chinese restaurant version of a Happy Meal except more expensive!!?☹️
Will NOT be returning to New Bamboo!
