“Stopped in Palm Cafe and ordered the pastrami sandwich—hands down one of the best I’ve had. But then the potato salad showed up and stole the spotlight like Beyoncé at a talent show. 🥔✨ I begged for the recipe, but the chef kept it secret (and honestly, I respect that… it’s probably in a vault somewhere). This place deserves all the stars and maybe its own food documentary.”

We strolled into this charming little cafe today for the first after having recently moved to the neighborhood. While located just inside the Dunedin Fine Arts Center it serves delicious fresh homemade food to everyone, patrons and non patrons at very reasonable prices. After an amazing lunch of Cuban and Chicken Salad sandwiches, Papaya Slaw, Potato Salad, Tiramisu, and Flan, we wish we could rate it more than the allowable five stars. Clean, modern, indoor and outdoor seating in beautiful surroundings and ample free parking. If you haven't tried this place you're missing out! It is one more gem in Dunedin's Crown!

Stopped in for sandwiches after the splash park nearby. The coleslaw was the best I’ve had! Very nice little spot.

BLT and Breakfast sandwich on Cuban bread is so good! Great prices too.
Chef Rob is the best!!!
Perfect little lunch or snack spot at the Dunedin Fine Arts Center. Super friendly staff. They have sourdough bread which is low in gluten (but not gluten free). Generous portions, fresh food, and reasonable prices.

10/10 amazing!! My husband and I took our boys for the children’s hands on exhibit which is SUPER cool, but we planned to have lunch here first and soooo happy we did the food was incredible! We ordered the salmon pita with papaya slaw they were both insane the slaw is a vinegar base it’s so refreshing .. the pita was soo good too the sauce was fire! We also ordered a grilled cheese on sourdough .. DONE. DELICIOUS! It’s no doubt the ingredients they use are top notch. The service was 10/10 too super nice friendly faces! Walking over to the children’s art room was really a cherry on top we have definitely found a hidden gem!

Outstanding! We will return again and again. I had a phenomenal Brussel salad and he loved the turkey sub with papaya slaw. Both dishes were elevated, what we would expect at a gourmet restaurant but without the high price. The space is just inside the door to the art center, so make a day of it.

Went to get some lunch for take out Monday afternoon. Finally a day off during the week that I could try Palm Cafe. Ordered 2 BLTs with potato salad and a grilled cheese.
Everything was great! Potato salad was wonderful and tasted so fresh. The bacon is awesome although my one complaint was on one of the sandwiches it seems it was made up of all small bacon pieces vs strips making it a little messy to eat. Grilled cheese with the tomato soup dipper was excellent. Service was very friendly. Bonus you can walk around and look at art while waiting for your food. Will be back to try that delicious looking cuban!

Discovered a hidden gem today. A veteran’s support group I am involved in wanted to meet for lunch. One member suggested Palm Cafe, inside the Dunedin Fine Arts Museum on Michigan Ave.
I expected a coffee shop with maybe some pastries. Wow, was I wrong! Not just coffee and soft drinks, but fresh made sandwiches and salads, plus specials, and desserts. One of their specials was an Argentine Red Shrimp Roll. I would love to try that but I planned to get a cup of soup and Cuban sandwich. I planned to take half the sandwich home to my wife, and not sure she would like the Shrimp.
Two of my companions ordered the BLT sandwiches. Hmm I knew they had eaten here before, should have followed their lead. Our fourth chose the Roasted Pork Belly sandwich. We gave our orders, got dinks and chose a table. Within a few minutes our meals came.
My cup of Clam Chowder was creamy, seasoned perfectly, and delicious. The same with my Cuban, also my side of potato salad. The BLTs were not only huge, but had a massive amount of bacon. Both gentlemen loved it. Our fourth enjoyed his Roasted Pork Belly sandwich. But I could tell he was also jealous of the BLTs! Next time I will definitely get the BLT… or maybe their Special! Oh and I also bought a piece of yummy Peanut Butter Cheesecake to take home - and my wife did get half!
Great food, nice portions, great values. Service was great. I did not expect table service but did get it. And what a spectacular ambiance with artwork surrounding the cafe. Check it out!
