Probably the best meal in the Bay Area. Quality and attention to detail is as high as other incredibly overpriced steakhouses in Tampa.
We were one of the first couples there and there were several people sitting at the bar. We receded with a friendly hostess and the waitress did a great job. We ordered beef Wellington and the salmon dish that were absolutely delicious. We had the stuffed mushrooms with crab That were outstanding and we finished with the banana Fosters, which was just OK. But overall, it was a great experience.
This was our first time dining here in celebration of my birthday. We will definitely be back. All we ordered last evening was absolutely delicious. Our server Brian suggested we share a ‘soup flight' trio of French onion soup, butternut squash soup and crab chowder. It was a lovely way to sample these exceptional soups. Followed by an appetizer of crab stuffed cremini mushrooms it was now entree time! I ordered beef Wellington and my husband chose the rack of lamb. Perfection! We are looking forward to our next visit soon!
We ate here Friday night, party of 5. Everyone enjoyed their cocktails. Our only complaint was that a cup of soup is served in a very small container, and I suggested that the servers should advise people of this since we were all surprised. Order a bowl unless you're on diet or not hungry. My salmon was excellent, served on a bed of wilted arrugula and toasted almonds, and with the really good mashed potatoes. The bolognese special was also excellent, as were the mussels. By 7:30 the restaurant was full, and a little bit noisy but not enough to interfere with conversation. This remains one of my favorites in Dunedin.
Amazing place Everything was great, food, service, wine Beef Wellington was top notch We enjoyed it very much If we are in the area again we will come back
There is a mismatch between price and quality. The food is too expensive. Charging for bread is a no-no in a bistro. The main dishes were good but do not justify the price.
My to go French restaurant in pinellas county. Fresh food and always original recipes. Love the onion soup and their unique entrees
A Delightful Experience at Parlor House Bistro The restaurant is a cozy little spot in a plaza. The brick walls, lined with vintage French posters and pictures, creates a nice setting. The menu at Parlor House Bistro is a mix of French and American flavors, thoughtfully curated to showcase the best of the cuisine. As a starter, my wife and I had the drunken clams in a white wine butter sauce with red pepper flakes with baguette slices – it was excellent! For the main course, I had the Filet Mignon, which was nicely presented with Pave potatoes, sautéed vegetables and a green peppercorn cognac sauce. The steak was perfectly done, the sauce was great, and the veggies were tasty. My wife had the Filet and French Onion Pasta which was an interesting combination, done very well. It is beef tenderloin tips, French onion bechamel sauce, gruyere cheese, mixed with pasta. It is a bit on the rich side but very tasty. For desert we had had a crepe with fruit – it was very tasty. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the cuisine. Parlor House Bistro is a gem of a restaurant that should be on your list if you are in the Dunedin or Clearwater area!
The night was a birthday celebration with family. Coco, our server was fantastic along with staff being very attentive. Great meal and cocktails!
Stepping inside was quite a contrast to the outside mundane appearance. It was warm and inviting inside. The server, although friendly, seemed to lack confidence in his selling the menu. I had to drag answers from him. He was attentive throughout. Food was excellent! I had the chateaubriand, cooked to perfection and my wife had the chilean sea bass, again, perfection! Desserts are made in house and very good (disappointed that table side flambé is no longer available). Restrooms were clean although a coat of paint on men's room door would enhance appearance. This was a special occasion for us and we would go again for another special occasion. Thanks guys!

Great place, easy parking. The food was outstanding and presented well. The wait staff is small but energetic. Price a little on the high side but a great place for special occasions
I was here with a friend about a month ago and then again tonight with two of my friends and everything has been wonderful. Service food all top notch. if you try the French dip you will never try another French dip anywhere ever again. The filet with French onion pasta is just crazy good. if you are local and you have not eaten here you are missing out.
We have never gone wrong when visiting Parlor House Bistro. Hidden in a strip mall and easy to miss should not be an excuse for not finding it. Service rivals the food as top notch. Lamb chops are the fav.
Once again, an excellent experience. From the food to the service, everything is perfect We each started with the lollipop lamb chop. A very unique appetizer. One small lamb chop with a dipping sauce, which is perfect for my lamb fetish when I don't want it for the whole meal. My wife had a châteaubriand which she said, was cooked to perfection and melted it in her mouth I had a tenderloin and French onion pasta dish It seems a strange combination, but the tastes were amazing. One of the best dishes out of the norm I have had in a long time. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection and the sauce added flavor to both the meat and the pasta. Excellent wine and cocktail menu enhances the meal Coco, our server who we have had before is always there to help but not intrusive. She knows the menu inside and out. It will definitely help you if you are undecided.
