It's difficult to find French food in this area. That's why I'm so excited about reviewing Parlor House Bistro. The food is amazing which of course is the most important thing. The menu is small, while having something for everyone. They also have nightly specials. My wife chose a special of scallops and egg noodles that was amazing. I had the Beef Wellington which was perfectly cooked. That was what really stood out was not just how delicious the plates were, but everything was perfectly cooked. It was our anniversary and when I reserved a table they asked if it was a special occasion. I reluctantly said it was our anniversary. When they seated us there was a card on the table which all of the employees signed the sweetest sentiments wishing us a happy anniversary. We found this to be really nice. Also, our waiter, Brian was simply awesome. Thank you so much for an extra special meal.

"Boston" style crab soup should have been described correctly as Maryland style. It was quite spicy and so thick it was like pudding. Not good. The duck confit was not crispy. Blubbery skin had to be peeled off. Duck itself was very tender and well flavored. No bread served to the table. When asked a little was brought out but no butter or oil. When asked was told butter is only served with the appetizer bread order. What??? That's a cheap way to do business

Fantastic experience. Food was delicious. Jessica our waitress was fantastic and Amy our bartender was great. Restaurant owners definately know what they are doing . Highly recommend giving it a try if you want a great dinner.

Food was outstanding. The filet mignon was done just right and had a tasty, light crust. My wife enjoyed the duck. For dessert, the apple beignet was a sweet, delicate pastry with a slightly crisp apple slice inside. Excellent dinner.

Fantastic experience. The cocktails were beautifully crafted. We fought over the last crab stuffed mushroom on the plate. The charcuterie board flavors were perfectly balanced. My beef Wellington was superb! All of this with the added bonus of great service! Will absolutely return and recommend to others.

Great atmosphere, great service. We ordered escargot, French onion soup followed by duck confit and filet mignon. All were excellent. This was our first visit and we will be back.

Probably the best meal in the Bay Area. Quality and attention to detail is as high as other incredibly overpriced steakhouses in Tampa.

Let me start with this place is a little more casual than I expected. The staff are gussied up but most of the patrons were really Casual from shorts and tank tops to business casual.
Ok
First impression is it's found its way from Nola, tin ceiling in a few spots. Very cool Nola decor.
Did not really like my table but that's ok. Bar looked well stocked and they make a really Nice Sazerac. Really well done with the sugar cube melted at the table. Nice touch. Wife had a French 75.
The meatball app was really good.
I had the Duck Confit, really good and cooked perfect. Just the right portion size and I'm not a tiny man.
The cons: The wife had the sea bass. She normally loves it but in this case (I sampled it) was it was really undercooked and bland and the sauce was bland a well. So underwhelming at best. The accompanying ravioli were delicious as she described. The cheesecake with Carmel was outstanding.
Coco was great and would ask for her station again if avail.
I would go back and sit at bar and try some other special drinks
The dark curtains are nice, who wants to look at a crappy parking lot.
Nice job, work on the fish .

We were one of the first couples there and there were several people sitting at the bar. We receded with a friendly hostess and the waitress did a great job. We ordered beef Wellington and the salmon dish that were absolutely delicious. We had the stuffed mushrooms with crab That were outstanding and we finished with the banana Fosters, which was just OK. But overall, it was a great experience.

Went there on suggestion from friend. Food was mediocre, and presentation was not good. Further, after seated, I was asked to move to another seat at bar, so to accommodate “friends” of the bartender it appeared. Bartender dressed like she should have been at a gentleman’s club, rather than a fine dining restaurant, and clearly was working to accommodate locals and friends . What was very odd too, was at approx 6 pm, the hostess suddenly went to every window and shut the blinds, making it extremely dark inside. Very strange……won’t be recommending or going back to this establishment.

This was our first time dining here in celebration of my birthday. We will definitely be back. All we ordered last evening was absolutely delicious. Our server Brian suggested we share a ‘soup flight' trio of French onion soup, butternut squash soup and crab chowder. It was a lovely way to sample these exceptional soups. Followed by an appetizer of crab stuffed cremini mushrooms it was now entree time! I ordered beef Wellington and my husband chose the rack of lamb. Perfection! We are looking forward to our next visit soon!
