One of our favorite spots in Dunedin. The location is great, with plenty of seating inside and out. The food is always fresh and served hot (or cold if that's how the dish is served) and the service is excellent. The owner is always there keeping an eye on things and maintaining their exceptional quality. Stop by and give it a try!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff was amazing …nowadays it seems like nobody cares. You wait forever for everything, but upon sitting at our table, we have a dinner group. We all meet the second Tuesday of every month (our group is 30’s to 55 year old people) and we go to a local establishments just supporting local businesses ….anyway we got there and immediately we were greeting by the waitress who told us all her favorites and all the highlights of the menu including the specials. We immediately ordered our drinks and got our drinks less than five minutes. Then when we are ready to order, our food came out in less than 10 minutes. Everything was cooked perfectly and it was a group of 11 of us. We will definitely be back

We were just there for a visit in Dunedin this weekend and I have to say that we had an excellent experience. I had the bourbon salmon platter and I can’t stop thinking about how good it was. Loved everything about the place!

I’ve been here twice now while visiting Dunedin solo and the bartenders are just so welcoming and friendly. Everyone here always seems to be having a great time! I’ve had the chip trio, asparagus and a coastal taco…love it all. Can’t wait to come back!

I don’t usually write negative reviews, but after today’s experience, I feel it’s important to share. We’ve been loyal customers, coming here at least twice a month and often bringing friends, family, and new business their way. The owner sees us regularly and knows who we are—not to mention, we’ve always been supportive and complimentary about their food and service every single time. Unfortunately, after today, we won’t be back.

From the start, the experience was unwelcoming. My husband went to the bar to order drinks, and instead of a simple greeting or friendly exchange, the owner immediately said, “I’ll give you these beers, but you need to get rid of the pizza.” No hello, no polite conversation—just an immediate demand. It wasn’t a conversation; it was an ultimatum.

For context, our two-year-old doesn’t care for any food at the moment other then a slice of pizza, so we usually bring a small snack for him. This time, we forgot, so we picked up a simple slice of pizza before arriving. Meanwhile, we ordered drinks, an appetizer and 3 meals for three adults. Our child hadn’t even touched the food yet, but instead of addressing the situation with any level of professionalism or understanding, the owner went straight into control mode. Regardless, we put the pizza away without argument.

Despite the awkwardness, we decided to finish our drinks and appetizer before heading out. When the waitress came by, we politely asked for the check. She asked if something was wrong, we explained that since our child wasn’t allowed to have his food here, we needed to leave to get him fed. It was a straightforward statement, not an argument or complaint.

Instead of handling the situation with grace, the owner came over looking for a confrontation. She sarcastically asked how things were going, then accused us of being rude to the waitress—an absolute misrepresentation of what happened. We weren’t rude. We didn’t argue. We simply made the decision that worked best for our family. But instead of de-escalating, she doubled down. Not to mention, we still ensured we tipped her for her time.

When we said we were finishing our drinks and then leaving, she snapped, “No, you need to leave now.” She also stated that “we had better be gone when she walked back around,” even though we had already paid our bill at that point. (Mind you, I was at lunch with my 70-year-old mother, my two-year-old son, and my husband.)

When asked what would happen if we didn’t leave, she immediately jumped to threats: “You better leave, or I’ll call the cops.” She also told us not to question her in her restaurant. At that point, it was clear this wasn’t about policy—it was about control. Instead of following through on her threat, she returned moments later, slapped the bill on the table, told us she had refunded our money, and aggressively grabbed the drinks and appetizer from the table.

At the end of the day, experience and customer service matter more than anything. A business can have great food, a great location, and a loyal customer base, but if the way people are treated is lacking, none of that matters. One bad interaction can undo years of goodwill, and unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened here.

Owners attitude is garbage. Couldn't take cordial feedback and was told to "not challenge" her in her restaurant. I'll start by saying anyone who has kids know food is rough sometimes. My two year old, who we take there almost every other week, doesn't like the kids options. We decided to continue going but this time forgot some snacks for him. We picked up a simple slice of pizza as we ordered for three adults. Our kid wasn't even eating it but any parent understands the issues with kids. Instead of talking nicely to me to begin with, she decided to say "I'll give you these beers but you need to get rid of the pizza." This seemed like an ultimatum but I didn't pay any attention to it and we put the pizza away, this despite other patrons hearing this and making it seem as if we stole something or something. My family decided our kid was a priority so we decided to finish our beer and appetizer. The waitress came by and we asked for the bill. (Not rude at all as I might add since the owner will comment on that as a cop out) She asked "is there something wrong". I simply said our kid cannot eat his pizza here so we have to leave. I also noted that it's no different than if we were to bring our own coffee or kids crackers or his bottle for that matter. I wasn't at all personalizing this to this waitress and never in my mind thought my complaint or feedback was going to have a change of outcome by ever being rude to a waitress. We were cordial but obviously we live in a world where feelings are hurt by not smiling and saying happy things to people. As someone who works in branding I can ensure you this is the worst approach. The owner (who always had an attitude) then came over with intent to argue. She started with "how's everything going over here". Trust when I say it wasn't positive. We didn't engage and just said we are finishing our drink and will be gone. She then said "well I heard you were rude to my waitress". Nobody was at all rude to anyone and when you train people to be as sensitive as you to feedback, it becomes the workplace culture. She then said she nicely asked me to not bring food in. This initial ask was not nice but rather disregarded and not engaged in back with her. Someone who assumes they are right in a situation doesn't mean they are right. We said we would leave when we finished the beer and she then asked us to "leave now". She then said "when I come back around you need to be gone". I immediately asked "or what?". I'm not going to be intimidated by this lousy person. She acted as if she was threatening us and called me hostile for asking. She said "you better leave or I'll call the cops". I simply asked her to call the cops so I could finish my beer. She said she was going to. Instead, credited back the money and the. Snatched the beers out from in front of my family members. She didn't want the cops as she threatened and she realized we were not "hostile" or aggressive but rather not taking her emotional unintelligent demands. The food is not amazing we just loved being able to go downtown and find a smash burger. We hardly drink and again are locals who have come to be loyal clientele. She could have simply just said "hey I'm so sorry and happy to offer something off our menu but I'm in a tight spot". It was do as I say or I won't give you beers or serve you. Not everyone is cut out to be customer facing. People who act overwhelmed and stressed all the time are not the type of people who need to be engaging with customers to deescalte a situation. The fact is nobody was rude except for the owner. She couldn't handle her emotions and thought her intimidation was the way forward. Good luck with subpar food and crap attitude.

Didn't eat but waitress assumed when I paid cash for 1 drink and 1 bottle of bud, $20, that the rest was her tip.

Fun little eatery on the outskirts of Main Street in Dunedin.
Excellent service from our server, Marcus at the bar area.
Food portions are good size and freshly made.
This was our first visit.
We had the Chip Trio, fresh warm tortilla chips with guac, salsa and queso.
Beach basket came with shrimp, hush puppies, fries and coleslaw, all cooked perfectly and not greasy.
The Baja bowl came with rice, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, black bean and corn salsa with your choice of protein and small sides of guac and dressing...portion was very generous.
We can't wait to go back and explore more from the menu.
