This hidden gem did not disappoint! My husband and I tried Sallie’s for the first time
on Valentine’s Day. They had a prix fixe menu and everything from the asparagus spinach soup starter to the amazingly seasoned bouillabaisse to the cardamom carrot cake was DELICIOUS! The husband wife duo (Kieran and Michele) created a warm atmosphere that makes for a perfect date night! They ended our meal with a handwritten Valentine’s card and 10.00 gift card to use a future date. We can’t wait to go back! Do your taste buds a favor and give this place a try!

Food was all amazing, even the sides. Great selection of Belgian beers, and the menu had so many great sounding dishes it was hard to choose! We will definitely be back.

Wonderful dinner at this hidden gem! I'm gluten and dairy intolerant as well as pescatarian. We enjoyed appetizers, entrees, and a wonderful dessert all made to our dietary restrictions. It was awesome!

We absolutely love this place. A hidden gem in a shopping center. Authentic French & Belgian perfection. Everything we have tried there has been amazing. The owner is very personable. They have a fantastic beer selection and they sometimes offer tasting events. Very happy we stumbled across this place. One of our top picks in Dunedin.

I ended up at Sallie's after a first chouce restaurant was closed. I'm so grateful for this happy accident! This is a hidden gem in Dunedin with true fine dining cuisine. My friend and I split the filet mignon. It was served sliced which was unexpected but it was cooked to perfection and paired wonderfully with the truffle sauce. I asked for salt and was pleased it was finishing salt which goes great with a good steak. We also enjoyed the baguette and compound butters. We had the potato croquettes and while good they were a little bland for my tastes. This little gem only does beer and wine but it had an excellent Belgium beer selection. Give it a shot. Not all amazing Dunedin restaurants are in downtown.

We are so happy to have found this hidden gem in Dunedin. Excellent Belgian food, nice wine menu and lots of Belgian beers to choose from. The staff is warm and welcoming and we can’t wait to return. We tried the carbonnade flamande, the beef Bourgogne and the chef skewers and everyone loved their meals. The amuse bouche was an amazing soup and a delightful curry salmon served on the best little chip. If they had offered it I would have taken a dinner size portion for my entree. The baguette is now our favorite restaurant bread. You get to choose two compound butters with the baguette. We chose the black truffle and the garlic parsley and both were excellent. We finished off with a delicious Belgian chocolate mousse and a pumpkin bread pudding with caramel sauce. I highly recommend Sallie’s. We will most definitely be back.

My fiancé and I are still speechless… we just had an exquisite dinner here tonight and our experience was 10/10. From the appetizers, main course, wine, and dessert… all was absolutely perfect. This was our first time here and will be first of many as we both stated this was our favorite meal we’ve ever had. We will come back for all special occasions. Please come here, you will NOT be disappointed! The French baguette with garlic/herb butter and sundried tomato butter was a home run, and our meals (the beef stew and the NY strip) all just delicious!!!
