I was so excited about this place after seeing the reviews. Considering how long our food took, I expected it to be amazing. Honestly, I wish I had my $35 back. We ordered the bang bang Bao, pork gyoza, and fried rice. The food was so bland and everything we ordered had the exact same ingredients on it which was super weird to me considering they were all so different. The presentation was beautiful and the sauce was pretty good by itself, but didn’t work on the gyoza which was the worst of the bunch. I just wish it wasn’t on literally everything I ordered. The guy working was nice, but basically made me give them a tip by asking how much change I wanted back… I won’t be going back. #sad
My boyfriend and I have been following Shiso since she started her truck. Now that she is in Dunedin and much closer to home we visit almost every week! Hands down best food truck!!

We recently had the distinct pleasure to eat some phenomenal Japanese-style food at Shiso Crispy food truck in Dunedin. The food was authentic and so pleasing to the palate. AND a special shout out to JULIA, she was the consummate professional, friendly, knowledgeable and very kind. Highly recommend a stop here in Dunedin—you’ll love it!!
Julia is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Talk about putting passion into work! The food is fresh and unique. Not your typical food vendor. Julia hyped up everything she made fresh that day, but our stomachs are only so big. Will definitely be back to try everything else this truck has to offer! Ty Julia again for the smiles and the vibe. Priceless!
Hey Shiso - quick piece of feedback - sitting at DHOB right now in Dunedin and both my friend and I were super unimpressed by your RUDE staff at the food truck.Took our orders, didn’t give us buzzers for when our order was ready - went back up after 5-10mins and asked for buzzers - young woman with the longer hair both tried lying to us by saying we didn’t take the buzzers that were given to us.First young lady started taking my order, then turned around to talk to her colleague, then had to start my over again. My friend was told he didn’t order what he ordered (but I heard him order it). 20 mins to get his meal.I said thank you and got some rude eye roll and a “of course”.First time for me to eat here, repeat time for my friend, neither of us will be returning.Your night staff need some lessons in customer service (and basic manners).Disappointing experience.
i wanna start with saying the customer service is wonderful i feel very welcomed when i come here. all of the employees rock a big smile and are curtious the food is really wonderful and i enjoy it everytime

Highly Recommend. This is one of my favorite spots in Pinellas. I was so happy when this came to Dunedin. When the owner is working the food is MORE than 5 stars. This location is busy oftentimes so keep that in mind as far as consistency of quality and wait times. It is worth the wait but it is better to be prepared. The price is relatively expensive for what most would think of in relation to a food truck. HOWEVER, the portion size is generous especially when getting a rice bowl.*Tuna or brisket rice bowl is what I'd recommend.*Parking garage to the east of the location. There is an area for kids to play on artificial turf and adults to get a drink at an attached brewery. Covered patio as well.
This is our favorite food truck and we drive from Redington Beach just to get us some Shiso Crispy. Conveniently located at HOB Brewing so you get to use their seating with many fans and in the shade as well as get great drinks while you're there. We always get their dirty rice (shrimp or tuna) and bao buns. Try pork rib bao buns, delicious. A review before mentioned it's more like pulled pork and that's true, but it's so flavorful so unless you are a plane Jane, you should like those, there's some kick to them too! Raspberry Lemonade Cider at the Brewery is amazing!

Don’t try to order for pickup through door dash. The order will NOT process. The owner should remove that from being available. I only found this out by physical going to the food trailer and asking them. The 3 working then were talking a lot and not paying attention to us standing there had to get their attention.Canceled my order with dash and then placed an order. They were completely out of all their goyza in any form.Got dirt rice short rib, and spring rolls.Short rib dish was not to bad a bit sweet.Spring rolls average and not very flavorful.
Amazing. I go out of my way for this stuff. So far I've had the bao buns, as well as dirty rice with short ribs and with bang bang chicken. All 3 were so flavorful and satisfying, but bb chicken dirty rice is the best! Bao buns weren't overfilled, as I've run into at other places.Take note that this isn't fast food, and there is a bit of a wait, especially when HOB is crowded, but it is wooorth it.My only note is that I wish the meals were served in to-go containers...the dirty rice is a lot of food.Vegetarian options available.
Had the chicken bao buns…incredible. 10/10
