My friends and I used to to go to skips all the time to enjoy a cold drink and smoke a cigar outside. Been about two years ago since they banned cigars. Meanwhile every other person is smoking a cigarette or weed pen. Makes nothing sense to allow one over the other when most people who don't smoke prefer a cigars scent is a cigarette. Please reconsider bringing back cigars or just go smoke free. Current policy just doesn't make sense

Loved Skip’s! The bartender was super friendly and attentive.. checked on all her customers frequently. We sat outside and enjoyed the comfy swing chairs surrounded by palms with a nice view of the people meandering by. Draft Beer was good and cold and the shelled peanuts w a bit of spice were super yummy. It’s dog friendly inside and out and had an awesome sign posted about being a safe and inclusive establishment. There are games including darts inside and a large bar w ample seating… next day had to return to Skip’s for Mickey’s Cajun Peanuts.. addicting!! Local to Florida. Bartender was different and equally nice!

Typical dive bar. Minimal selection of beers but what they did have was cold and cheap. Service was very good. I ordered some spicy peanuts. The bartender warned us to wash our hands before rubbing our eyes or using the bathroom. I didn't heed her warning and suffered the consequences and great balls of fire she packed the remaining peanuts we didn't eat in a brown paper bag labeled "hot nuts". A friendly place to get a cold beer.

NOT KID FRIENDLYWalked in with a group of friends and a baby in a stroller; bar tender immediately stopped what he was doing to run around the bar and rudely state “no one under 21 allowed”. The most ridiculous part of that was the couple standing right next to us with a young kid in a stroller.Would have been more professional to offer us a drink and just ask us to stand outside with the stroller instead of kicking us out.Rude man lost our business.
