Went to Stirling wine for first time and it is a great place the food was delicious, the wine selection was excellent and they had a great jazz duo playing, the Western Gypsies. Perfect vibe and very talented. Will definitely go back

Great little hole in the wall adventure for us two explorers! My beautiful girlfriend and I found great solace in our sommelier. She offered us an exclusive collection of Chianti’s that really tickled my noodle! If I could improve anything, I would say we should be able to pay in sterlings at Stirlings! 5-stars!

I'm not sure I have ever felt more unwelcome or in the way at a bar. Apparently only locals are welcome (evidence all around us). Don't bother if you are a visitor.

HANDS DOWN MY FAVORITE PLACE IN DUNEDIN. The service is just impeccable. I could hang out here all day. The inside is such a cozy atmosphere and outside they ALWAYS have live music. Also, sitting outside is a great place to people watch which I think is fun. The happy hour here is great! I have tried most of the flatbreads on the menu. The charcuterie is also a must and I have had the BURRATA which was AHHHmazing. I have 0 complaints. Every time I come to Stirling I have a GREAT time. FOOD is FABULOUS. SERVICE SUPERB. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Went to Stirling on a wet January night. Atmosphere was warm and inviting (live music in the courtyard) as well as the bartender, Renee. Met some great people and we had a great time. The wine was very good, (had the Malbec). The Buffalo dip was pretty tasty but the prosciutto and fig flatbread was just mediocre. Would definitely come back for a drink or the generous happy hours but would plan to do dinner somewhere else.

Ranae knows our wine taste and always introduces us to excellence new ones. Maria is always coming up with new eats that are on spot. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Good selections of music groups on the patio. Can't say enough about Stirling Wine. So happy we are members. So many perks included. Rob and Luanne are great hosts. ❤️❤️??

This is a great wine bar. The food that comes out of the kitchen is awesome quality and taste. The service is really good as well. I haven't been in a while.

so disappointed!!! Ive been going here for the last 2 years on the weekends and have always enjoyed it. But this weekend..totally different experience. I ordered my usual NZ Souv Blanc. Waitress asks if I wanted *3 different sized pours.* I ve never been asked that before, but I say the 10oz is good and will last through my evening. I carry an insulated wine glass because its so hot outside and transfer my wine to keep it cold. She brought my wine and Im like NO FREAKING WAY is this 10oz!! I poured it into my 12 oz insulated wine glass and NOPE!!! Doesnt even fill halfway. I probably got 5 or 6 oz but paid .....are you sitting....$20.99 for a "supposed" 10oz glass of wine! Who rips off customers off like this?! Did the waitress take a few sips? Did the bartender have a brain hemorrhage? Did the cashier get confused?? Did I complain....nope. These days I dont complain to get called "karen," because we al know its a *sit down, shut up, and take what you get* society now. So instead, I just take note...post a review...and never return. listen.. Sterling, not sure if it was purposely done or an accident, but most KNOW what 10ozs looks like, so whatever it is you're doing...please stop it.

The person working behind the bar immediately asked if we were “members”. ??? And then asked what wine we liked?? I replied Opus and/or Caymus and he looked at me like I was an alien. (Which might be true..?) Moral of story, if you see wine bottles corked at room temperature (80 degrees plus) then fahgheddaboutit. This place will be a wine connoisseur’s worst migraine/nightmare. Waste of time and $$$

This is just a wonderful local gem. We are a little far from dunedin but everytime we go to the area we have to stop in for a glass! great changing wine list and SO reasonable on prices. really home-y feel, so welcoming, exactly what i cherish in a wine bar - so approachable. Highly recommend!!

Great place to listen to music and have a few drinks and an appetizer. The staff is very knowledgeable about wine. Make sure and see Kenny Carlyle!
