I know people seem to love this place but I found the food above average but not fantastic for the price. You know things are very wrong when they are charging $6 for Naan bread. That's right... Indian Naan bread with nothing accompanying it! The audacity is just striking.
But as you wander down the menu you see the same theme. Pricing that is easily $5-$6 higher than it should be. The portions are small as others have said so it's extra egregious.
Service is great but atmosphere weak. Would I try it again, probably not.
For the price I'd rather go to Black Pearl which has more variety and larger portions for a similar price.

This was our second visit and it didn’t disappoint. The menu is pretty small but it is still a tough decision as everything looks delicious and unusual. I love going to a restaurant where I have to look up the ingredients. We started with the naan and whipped ricotta - delicious and not too heavy. We then shared the hamachi and the gnocchi. Both were really good but the gnocchi was to die for. Then we split the duck which was excellent - cooked perfect. We were pretty full but couldn’t resist the dessert of pistachio cake, namelaka and orange ice cream. Crazy ingredients but it worked!
Service is wonderful and the ambience is just what we like - very nice but casual and friendly.

My daughter and daughter-in-law took me here for my 75th birthday. Tucked away in a little strip mall is this absolutely AMAZING gastronomical experience! Normally when I go out to eat at a nice place I am able to "reverse engineer" the food so that I can make it myself at home. Even if I could have done so, I wouldn't even want to try. They have a way of combining ingredients, flavors, and textures that is just extraordinary. It was an experience and treat to remember.

A small gourmet treasure is what I discovered at The Restorative with a couple of good friends! The crème brûlée tuna tartare was a culinary delight — creative and delicious! The halibut was wonderful and juicy as well. The menu is always changing, thus some of these dishes might not be available.

The food is excellent and prepared with great care. The food is truly SPECTACULAR Portions are very small however.
They know what they have and are set in their ways almost to the point of annoyance. They add 20% gratuity and I would have tipped 25 or more had they not had that policy.

First visit after hearing good things about restaurant. Found food complex and interesting. I appreciated the effort. We had the duck and the halibut which were the two mains available the night we were there. Both delicious. I understand the menu changes monthly. Well worth a visit. Looking forward to next months menu.

An absoulute find! Travelled from Boynton Beach to Clearwater Beach,for the first time. Found the Restorative on line and booked it. I t is an amazing small family owned restaurant with a limited but delicious menu. We loved it and would go all the time if we lived in the area!
