The fried chicken is the best in town and there are plenty of down-home southern sides to go with it. My wife had the chicken-fried chicken and it was nicely done also.
Delicious food crafted with care. Top notch customer Service and team effort.
Went there with a coworker after work to get one of their pies. for starters its $24, which was crazy to begin with but not the insanity part of this whole ordeal. The waitress then tells me she cant sell me just one blueberry pie but needed to purchase at least 3. she then tends to tell me the kitchen has one pie and the 2 in the case we're backups and they would o ly sell if 3 were purchased. what ever happened to the term a bird in hand is better than 2 in the bush? This place is a joke and will be belly up with this Joe Biden mentality soon.
I ordered 3 Cuban sandwiches today. When I got home and opened the boxes, I found 2 whole sandwich, one half sandwich, and one whole sandwich with half the bread missing from one side. I called and told them what I was given. They said that I was given 3 beautiful whole sandwiches. They basically told me I was lying. That was a very disappointing experience.
Love the down home cooking. Hard to find in our area. So glad we found this restaurant. Staff is super friendly also.
Great service from Ms. Melanie and we wished we were more local so we could come back. Delicious fried shrimp and catfish… and those collard greens! Back of house knows what they’re doing here. :) Pies were delicious as well.
This is a great place for lunch. The Cole slaw and potato salad is made fresh and tasted great. There is a variety of choices for all tastes and the pie is delicious! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a casual place with great food.
Horrible service and food was mediocre at best. Worst omelet I have ever had. Way overdone. We waited an hour and five minutes for our food and the place wasn't even busy. Just before getting served, we were informed that they were out of biscuits. Ten people came in and sat at a table next to us. Less than five minutes after we were finally served the table of 10 all their food and several of them HAD BISCUITS. This is the second time I have eaten here and both times the service was terrible and lousy food. Never again. There are many good restaurants in the area, stay away from this one.
Thrilled to find this excellent little spot in between our drive from north to south Florida. Wonderful southern food. This is definitely our new spot. Jenny waited on us outside on the porch. Great service.. feels like eating homemade food on your grandmother’s farm ❤️
Most excellent food and service! YUM!

A friend and I went for breakfast. The biscuits are amazing (ask for butter, its whipped)! The gravy for the biscuits was flavorful. The pancakes at the next table looked delicious too. My tea water came in a teapot. The pies and milkshakes looked wonderful! Wish I was local and could visit here more often. Friendly staff.
The restaurant was very busy but we were seated quicky. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and didn't rush us (VERY mature ladies) in making a decision. The 1/2 Cuban and the Liver & Onions dinner that two split were very large portions. The food was excellent, all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Even through they were busy no one rushed us. We will return again many times, it was a fun experience with a casual attitude and great food - the pies were such a bonus!
We were hesitant to stop because of some of the negative reviews, but we’re so glad we did. Great charming local restaurant with delicious food and service. The staff was very friendly. Don’t skip the pie - worth every calorie!
We sat in main dining area and couldn’t have a conversation because it was so noisy. We sat at a table set for 8. 4 people were at one end and they sat us at the other end. Food was nothing special I had a Blt with coleslaw my husband had the full Cuban sandwich with coleslaw slaw. I had an iced tea. They charge a 3 % up charge if you use a credit card. Our bill was $30 not including tip.
My friends and I had such a delightful lunch there today and Jenny, our waitress, was fantastic! She was efficient and personable and patiently answered my many queations! The food was drlicious and my pecan pie was as good as my moms!
