I've been to the front porch only one time because I read the reviews and people have so many good things to say about them. I arrived and waited about 40 minutes, which is OK because great food is worth the weight. My husband got a burger it was delicious he said, I ordered the chicken liver dinner. They came out fast. The waitress was outstanding. However, my chicken livers were raw on the inside and it's my fault for not sending them back. I just brought them home in the microwave and gave them to my pups. The pie was OK.

Had the taco salad. It was gigantic. And beautiful. However I didn't like the meat in the salad. It gave me indigestion and I never have that problem with a quality ground beef.

Told 20min wait. Turned into 45 there were 6 of us. When they did call us they set us at two complete different areas when asked why can't we sit together in another area was told we have this or you can keep waiting. Then they were out of half the food on the menu and one they didn't tell us of some of it till they brought us the food.

We were very excited to try this place. We ordered open faced turkey, open face roast beef and I got what ended up being a pork patty. The roast beef was cold and swimming in a gravy. The turkey was deli turkey instead of sliced real turkey in a white gravy. The fries had to go back since we wanted them crispy which they weren't. My pork patty was so deeply fried that was impossible to eat. Sent the roast beef back and she ordered a cup of bean soup instead. We didn't complain to a manager as it was very crowded. The pies were outstanding! So we'll go back.... for coffee and pie.

stopped for sunday breakfast. nice atmosphere. my fiancé can’t stop saying “put some south in your mouth!” we have a 4 hour ride home. we’re glad we stopped in. friendly, fast service food was excellent.
Food was HORRIBLE. I have been here several times in the past, but I will not be returning. Fried chicken was the oldest, dryest chicken breast I have ever had and onion rings were way overdone and tasteless. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED!

The restaurant appears to be on the new management. The fried Chicken appears to be from the smallest chickens that are available to be purchased. The chicken was overcooked and dry and came to the table lukewarm.

We were directed to a table but it took several minutes before we received a menu. After getting menu a waitress never took drink or food order. We left after 10 minutes. During that time I saw two other tables seated and orders taken. Manager looked our way but never acknowledged us. This was between 2 and 2:30.
