Lucy's Ice Cream

Small, out of the way ice cream shop. Have not had a flavor didn't enjoy.Great shakes, staff is always friendly and happy to give samples.
Not a big parking lot, but enough for 10 or 12 cars.
We drive 40 miles one way once or twice a month to come here. Yes, it's that good.

20 for one double scoop cake cone and one medium vanilla shake. Ridiculously over priced. Will not be back. The quality missed the price mark by a mile.

Excellent ice cream and pizza.

We visited in the late afternoon, early evening, as the location is quite remote. The setting felt unique and exciting, so we decided to stop in. From the start, the staff was warm and welcoming, kindly directing us to where we could get ice cream. The young lady serving us was friendly and eager to help, though she seemed a bit unfamiliar with some of the available flavors. Despite this, her hospitality was appreciated.

When it came time to serve the ice cream, she encountered difficulty scooping it due to how hard it was frozen. Unfortunately, this resulted in a partial scoop being served into the cup. Given the premium price, I had hoped for either a discount or an alternative solution, but neither was offered, and we paid full price. While the flavor was enjoyable, the portion did not feel like a good value.

Before leaving, I spoke with the manager on duty to express my concerns. She was gracious, professional, and receptive, assuring me that she would relay the feedback to the owner. I sincerely hope this establishment thrives despite its remote location—it offers a peaceful atmosphere and has potential.

If you visit, I recommend communicating any concerns directly with the staff—they appear genuinely committed to customer satisfaction and I believe they will do their best to make things right. Wishing them all the best.

DO NOT GO HERE!! The Lucy's you knew before is not the same! They are under new management and the ice cream isn't even homemade anymore! Me, my wife, and her sister had went because we were craving the flavors we had before like Kahlua and exhausted parents but those weren't there anymore. Instead it was just some regular flavors! Me and my sister in law got the coffee flavor mixed in with a different flavor as a shake and it was not great! My wife even tasted it and she said it tasty oily. None of us had an enjoyable experience and also the place was completely empty.. and they were still open! Also as my wife pointed out, the main restaurant smells like they haven't cleaned out the grease traps in over a week! The lady tending to us was very nice but that's about it. This place use to be great but now it's just sad! Also to mention, we never finished our shakes either because they were awful! If you want great ice cream, go to La Dolce Vita instead because it's homemade and John the owner and his wife bring so much love and care into their gelato and desserts that it shows!

Kinda pricy. No trash can outside -- had to take the garbage with me ( no big deal but should think about putting one outside... ) ice cream was good.

6.77 for 1 scoop sundae. Barely any ice cream or toppings. I will go out of my way for another local place in the future. The man was manning the restaurant and ice cream place. Appear inexperienced and not caring when I commented. Sad, there is no option to post a pic.

Parking: Plentiful. Some one was even changing a tire there. No one in the restaurant. Me only.

Our visit to your ice cream shop was delightful. The attendant was exceptionally kind and patient, adding to the overall charm of the experience. The ice cream was delicious, and the store was impeccably clean. It’s refreshing to finally encounter such excellent service at a food establishment.

Ice cream was great but the door was locked shut in the middle of the day. The employee was no where to be found. The next door restaurant let us in and one of their employees starting serving us. He was great. The actual employee arrived after he had served 5 out of the 7 people in our party.

Kid-friendliness: It had coloring books and toys out for kids.

They made my 10 year old horse loving granddaughters day! not only was the ice cream delicious but she gave her an extra gift! Thank You, she was soooo excited! 🐎

Very expensive for the tiny amount your get, asked for Pecans and for peanuts
The sundae was 3 scoops and didn’t want that much but wasn’t told I would still be charged same price
Scoops are the smallest I have ever seen
