Maybe it was just a bad day? My husband & I have eaten at Lugo’s Grill previously – the Cuban sandwich was Fabulous. We decided to eat at Lugo’s again, for another Cuban sandwich! On our 2nd visit, waitress was only adequate. Our Cuban sandwiches, were not made the same our first visit. Center of my sandwich was not warm, merely tepid. We had one dill pickle slice on each sandwich ½. The shaved pork was dry and tasteless. Only high point of meal was black beans over rice! Disappointing for an expensive sandwich!

This place has wonderful food however they just randomly close early. Called @6 to confirm hours get there 15 minutes later and the decide to close early. This seems to happen frequently. Took a chance the other day and went @4. Open and food was magnificent! 1 star missing for the several times we went during business hours and they closed early.

If you’re in town for vacation this is the place to go.
It’s cash only but it’s BYOB so that kind of balances out the inconvenience of the cash only aspect.
Also get the coconut flan it’s pretty damn amazing.

the staff was very friendly and the interior is incredibly nice. almost shockingly good for this quite little tucked away restaurant. the cuban sandwich was very good with rice and beans as a side. very cheap prices for the quality of the food. you can observe the cooks prepare your food from the comfortable clean booths of the dining room
We had a wonderful lunch there. They don’t take credit cards but they have an ATM and it’s only $2.50 to use it. Very tasty food. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience eating lunch at Lugo’s today. The food was delicious! The meals were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Each bite offered an absolute dance of layer after layer of flavors to tantalize each and every taste bud. My taste senses were in an over drive of happiness! We will be back. And, we will continue to return until we have had the opportunity to try everything on the menu. Fabulous! If you enjoy eating, I can highly recommend this place.
