Rainbow River's Club is a great place to bring the fam and enjoy some time on the river. Renting their kayaks is the best option so you don't have to carry yours all the way to the river. Kind of a far walk. Or bring inflatable stuff so it's light. The pool is great, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We had some people find a couple different wasp nests and staff got rid of them quickly. Will definitely go back!
We stayed in bungalow B. We loved it the peace n quiet. We where few min walk to K.P hole n few min drive from state park. The views where beautiful. We spent alot of time on the front porch enjoying the relaxing place. We will definitely be returning. Wonderful week there.
This is an excellent getaway destination. The grounds are beautiful and natural. The two rivers are spectacular! The cabins are clean, well maintained, well equipped and comfortable. The amenities are numerous and the staff is friendly, responsive and accessible. Great place to relax and unwind.
We park a boat at their dock, and they keep it gassed up. Everyone is friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful place with easy access to the Withlacoochee River and the Rainbow River .
Overseas visitor, I’ve never stayed in a place like this before its rustic 1970 decor, but we loved it. If you want to spend quality time with your family or in my case my teenage son then this is the place. Very clean cabin loved the BQ facility just outside the cabin. Purchased a fishing rod and hired and boat from the same company really friendly service and helpful with the local waterways. My son loved fishing in the private lake, shame we ran-out of bait before it went dark. Booked 2 nights and would love to stay longer, so peaceful.

Our group of 4 adults stayed in Cabin 6 for our Rainbow River vacation. We loved this place. The cabin was so comfortable and roomy. Loved having the screen porch facing the woods. The early morning frog and animal sounds are something else. We walked a lot, exploring the different trails and boardwalks out to the water (even at night; so cool). We were told that people swim at the kayak launch site on the Rainbow River (off of the bike trail). We did see some teenagers that had floated down to that site and gotten out there. Every day that we were there we saw a gator in that area. Definitely would not swim near all that grass with no visible way to see them underwater. But, they made it. The grounds and swimming pool were always clean and we absolutely love Kim (the only staff person we saw during our 4 days we were there except the maintenance man we saw at the pool; very nice man). Kim is so personable and kind. Always ready to give a helping hand if needed. She really hustles with the business of getting those cabins ready quick. I hope she is around for years to come. We were happy to leave a tip for her. Before our visit, every time I called I got a nice person on the phone. I can't say one single negative thing about our experience. Priced right and lots of fun. Oh, we saw a pig, several deer and a turkey on the dirt road coming in. lol Thank you for the experience.

Doing the rustic thing is relaxing and necessary to shut down in a busy world. Loved it. Can't wait to go back in July.

I went to celebrate my birthday and I enjoyed it so much I may do it again next year!!It is a great place for peace. The staff and the guests were very nice and not overbearing. It is rustic and could use some updating ( broken stove burner, mismatched plates, etc )But that gives it that charm of “roughing it “.A little bit pricey, but location to river is perfect!Always booked up, so make a reservation!!

It's the most amazing experience I've ever seen. Prices are sooooo reasonable, the rooms & bathrooms are as clean as a whistle, there service is more like an exclusive, five star ⭐ hotel or like a personalized "Bed-Breakfast". The Food is completely OFF-the-CHART". And HOT Chicks too. Plenty of food, fun, dancing and memories that will never die. Just ONE-Word to sum it up: "Amazing".

Very nice place to have fun
Rented the clubhouse there for a celebration of life. It was exactly what we needed for the occasion they allow you to bring your own food they have a kitchen there as well . staff very nice and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to hold an event in Dunnellon.
This is a very relaxed place in the woods. Dirt roads to get in that can be a little muddy. You must carry your bags to the cabins as you cannot drive right up to them. I appreciated the lack of vehicle traffic disturbing our down time. This also meant children were a bit safer to explore right around the cabins without fear of parking lots / traffic. Very nature friendly experience. The porches off the cabins facing right into the woods are a real plus. and several boardwalks allow you to walk through the woods as you are between the Withlacoochee River and the Rainbow River. One leads to a dock on the Withlacoochee side. A dark water river that we used to enjoy fishing on when I was younger. The Rainbow River is sparkly clear fed by springs that you can visit by boat or by driving to the state park.A large resort style main building has games for kids, lounge areas, and a nice view of a small pond. We went just to get away from it all, took advantage of using the canoes and loved going out on the Rainbow River.I could see this really being great for a family vacation, it is not near anything other than the river, bike trails, etc. but if you want to feel like your cabin with the comfort of a cabin this is the place. You can drive or bike into the small town of Dunnellon for eating out, groceries etc.I recommend the rainbow river state park for a visit and there was a place that you can rent canoes and they will take you up stream and you get to float down. It ends at a small restaurant / bar so you can eat when you wrap up if you like.
