I want to give this place a 2 or 1 but I cannot look past the food and quality.
Yesterday night my husband and I placed a take out order. When my husband placed the order I arrived there rather quickly so I waited in my car about 12 minutes before walking in.
When I walked it I wasn’t greeted with much excitement. “How can I help you?” I explained to the take out woman I was there to pick up an order. “Are you with DoorDash?” “No..” I stated. She then says “are you sure you’re in the right place?” How rude! She was rude from the start. When I laughed at her and said yes I am she then looked at her phone and began cursing and apologizing but the damage was done. Now she’s constantly saying sorry sorry sorry and trying to make up for it but she was only kind to me when she noticed she messed up. She blamed her watch, blamed not knowing because of the system, blaming everyone but herself.
The cook was quick, he followed me into the building. He was taking a smoke break when I was sitting in my car and as soon as he saw me walk up he was on it. He dropped food quickly and he is the ONLY reason this review is a good one. The food is always fantastic when we come. He gave us fat wings, sauced them well and he came out with the food. The take out girl didn’t bother checking or going into the back to get the food. He even began bagging then asked her to come finish. She again gave some excuse while bagging the items. Got home and found out the 3 ranches we paid for weren’t all ranches. She couldn’t even do that! She gave us blue cheese! Whoever worked take out last night was rude and needs to work on her customer service more. Well only be back because the cooks are damn good and kind

THIS PLACE IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST AROUND! Keith took care of us this evening, he was quick friendly and professional. This little hole in the wall did not disappoint! Best burger, awesome grits, coleslaw was fire! There is a bar attached next door for adult bev if wanted. Super awesome place!

I had the best burger and cheesy grits here! Keith was excellent with taking care of us and making us feel at home. Amazing service and food! Definitely planning on coming back.

This was one of the worst experiences with poor food quality and lack of customer service I have ever experienced.
Service was slow and weird. The atmosphere is dark and outdated.
I will not be back and would never recommend going there.

We was there from December 2024 to feb 2025 and had dinner or lunch there many times it was the best on the whole avenue and we tried them all amazing steak burger 🍔

My dad are originally from WI and was looking for a good bar burger. Well we found it here!! We sat in the dining room, music was a little loud, coming from the kitchen, but the food was so good we didn't mind. We will be back!! :)

We got Uber eats. Food was Amazing!!! Got catfish in a basket, catfish sandwich, steak salad, chicken tenders, ribeye steak sandwich, sirloin and fries, jambalaya and cheese grits
