First time here. Driven by here a million times. So this place just restored my faith in eating out. Ordered Oxtail & pork neckbone. OUTSTANDING! Sides were DELICIOUS as well. Owner was awesome. You have a new customer.

Thank you for a wonderful meal! You can tell Ms. Angie puts care into everything she serves. Hands-down the best southern food I've had since I moved here in 2010. I had the oxtail, and my husband had the fried ribs. They were both excellent. The mashed potatoes were perfectly made, and the cabbage was ridiculous. I could have eaten a whole meal of just that cabbage. My husband loved his okra and tomatoes. It's a small establishment, but with seating inside and out back, there is plenty of room to enjoy your food if you prefer to dine-in. 10/10, kitchen goddess. We will be back!

Tried this restaurant for the 1st time today. And I already can't wait to go back! I had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy , Mac n cheese, and northern beans. it was all EXCELLENT! I highly recommend this place if you love southern home cooking. My mouth is watering thinking bout that plate.. lol. And the staff was very friendly.

Small restaurant, we took ours to go. I had the fried chicken which was perfect. Moist on the inside, crunchy on the outside. I didn't have anything that was even mediocre. The cornbread was scrumptious, the collards were seasoned perfectly, tomatoes and okra were just like my grandmother used to make. Excellent lunch, lots of food for a very reasonable price!!

My Mother (Thelma Tyson) always taught her children that no matter where you go always always have at least $100 on you to eat and to get back home.
