We are regulars there, to a degree. We had a family gathering last night of about 20 people for a surprise birthday. I cannot say enough about the food, service, drinks, and staff. Tip of the hat. Swampys never disappoints. Thank you for being a great place!
I used to come here mostly for the scenery but they were spot on the food and service today. I tried the spinach salad with grilled chicken and it was delicious. The poppy seed dressing was a little sweet but it grew on me. Others had a big burger and fries and loved it. Got seated at the table of our choice right away and served by a friendly and efficient waitress.love the screaming lemonade cocktail. The cypress swamp and wildlife were serene and lovely. Andy, our server, might look like a youngin', but as it turned out, he is actually an OG. He took great care of us all through our meal and drinks, and made sure we didn't leave without two very generous pieces of key lime pie. The gumbo, gator bites, corn nuggets, and gator wrap were delicious. I am a sucker for Cajun food and this is my favorite place to eat in Dunnellon.
