Ye Olde Sub & Pizza Pub

On our way from Crystal River to Gainesville and wanted to stop at one of our favorite Dunnellon restaurants. Did not know that this was there first day opening after a 6 week remodeling. So glad we found them open. They did not disappoint. They have new hours ..I think she said 2-8.

The wife and I and my son and his fiancé stopped in to try one of their pizza we got a large 16 inch with mushroom and pepperoni it was awesome and I got the chicken Parm which was awesome very good service highly recommend stopping here and grabbing a pie

Went to go visit family in Florida and they took me to this pizza joint. Wait staff was nice, they took care us all of us. They looked to be a little under staffed when we were there. When our food arrived, it looked great and tasted better. The kids ordered a 16" Meat Lovers Pizza, I ordered the Ye Old Sub. Overall, we have a good meal and got out fairly cheap (compared to where I live). I talked to the owner and his wife on the way out and they said they just took it over less than a year ago. I was very impressed and wish them the best.

I would have given this place Neg starts if I could. My partner and I came there tonight and they were practically empty except for two other small parties. I ordered a 6 inch sub and my partner ordered a 12 inch sub. We sat and sat and sat. So about 40 min later our waiter comes out and hands my partner his meal only but a 6 inch. And the waiter said something along the line of “yeh we forgot you orders a 12 so we are making the other half” and we inquired about my food and was just told “ they are working on it.” So we sat for maybe another 20 min and my partners food is getting cold and still nothing….so we ended up leaving. Just super disappointed because I have loved that place and have been going there since I was young.

Best pizza around! The owners are very nice and I had a very nice waitress! Love it here, the pizzas the best but everything’s great!

Food and service is amazing, we had an amazing waitress named Kendra she's an absolute doll. Highly recommend more people to come here.

Just visited this restaurant for the first time following new ownership. I had a small Chef Salad. Hubby had a Mini Calzone. They were DELICIOUS! Our friends had a Calzone and salad. They were very impressed with their meal as well. We highly recommend. Service was great. Food was delicious with quality ingredients and generous portions. Will be back soon. Found out they are closed Monday and Thursday.

Pizza is fair. Cheese is not top quality and is greasy. Crust is thin and crunchy, I had a mild case of heartburn within about a half hour.

Since the new owners took over this business has went down hill. The owner is rude and cocky and the food doesnt taste good like it used to i think they uses cheap products honestly. Horrible service also go to another place!

Incredibly rude staff. The food is decent but the older woman with glasses working the register is obnoxious and condescending. She was rude to the two people in front of me and she was so obnoxious to me I almost left without my food. I will not be returning.

Ordered a 5-topping large pizza to carry out. Our first order, following a neighbor's recommendation. The ready time was accurate, and the pizza was coming hot and fresh out of the oven when we arrived. Delicious in every way - toppings, sauce and crust. We'll be back!

It was okay. The Cuban sub had barely any meat, mostly pickles. Also ordered two Italian subs. The bread was dry. Maybe it was because we ordered towards the end of the night for the bread. Would've been excellent if it was an actual Cuban, and the bread was moist. However, I do have a rare allergy, and the woman was on top of knowing whether or not it was in ingredient in the bread!

Hadn't been there in some years. Food was different, not bad, but different; not sure if ownership has changed. Food was made to order and service was good.

Ordered take out for the kids and I for the first time from here for a quick dinner. We did the Tuesday pizza special and a pasta. The portion sizes are great and you get plenty for the price.However the pizza was disappointing to say the least. It was cold when we picked up, (like cheese hard cold by the time we got home) and sadly didn’t have much flavor. My oldest compared it to the box chef Boyardee pizza’s from childhood. Not horrible, but definitely not worth the $45.If that wasn’t bad enough, 3 bites in and my daughter gagged on a piece of long hair stir stuck in the pizza. Definitely won’t be returning in the future.

Great food but in desperate need of more ovens and more cooks. Only 2 cooks and 2 ovens. A large 1 topping pizza and half a sub took over an hour to make. Everything tasted great and the waitress was very apologetic about the wait. Would go again when it's less crowded or at least order takeout
