We tried Mangia for the first time and will definitely be coming back every time we’re on St. George Island. The food was absolutely delicious and clearly made fresh. The staff was friendly and incredibly patient with our children. Highly recommend giving it a try!

First of all Kim, the owner, is THERE! Present! Hard working! Checking in going table to table chatting with guests making sure everything is perfect and making sure they feel welcome. (Even getting a bowl of water for outside porch canine guest) All while keeping close attention towards staff and kitchen!
2nd: The staff is awesome! Attentive, friendly, patient, knowledgeable and just plain nice!
3rdly: Chef kiss to the Chef! Made with love! The food is outstanding! Superb sauces and delicious combinations of flavors. Everything is extraordinary. Try the meatball salad! Bread 🥖 and herbed butter insane! The desserts amazing. Lovely wine list.
4th (I could go on and on but you get the idea) the take out. RV’ers need to get some sauce to go or a meal to cook on their journey home or at camper. Lasagna on the road! What a treat!

I had the chicken tortellini with Alfredo sauce. The Alfredo sauce was very thin and watery and the chicken was bland. I also thought price was extravagant for the portion size, and the food was cold when served. However, the staff service was pleasant enough.
Omg this place was so nasty! We got the chicken Alfredo and it was cheap chicken thighs with no seasoning! The Alfredo sauce tasted like watered down cold milk. On top of that the food was cold when they brought it out! I will never step foot in this place again! I hope I’m not up all night puking my brains out! ????

My family and I enjoyed dinner at Mangia last week during our vacation. Let me just say that the Italian food at this restaurant is exceptional! Nice atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Do yourself a favor and get over to Mangia soon. You’ll be very happy with the dining experience. Bon Appetite!
