“Best fried shrimp I’ve ever had! They were large and had a light batter, so you tasted shrimp not breading. The okra was fresh and hush puppies were amazing. Our servers, Theresa and Shannon, went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. You can’t beat the view either! We will definitely return!”

“Food was pretty good, I had a thin mushroom pizza and a sandwich, gonna be honest the sandwich looked a bit iffy but it tasted ok . Now obviously this isn't gonna be subway level good I mean this place is super small and shares a building with what I assumed was a liquor store and despite its rough exterior it's a nice family friendly lil place with slightly above average food. The service was generally quick and pretty friendly, but maybe I was just lucky to come in on a slow day. just felt the need to write this since the last person who reviewed this place was pretty harsh.”

“We visited and ate at the bar a few times, but we decided to try the restaurant . I don't know if it was an off night, but we were not impressed.Our wait after we ordered was VERY long. The servers were almost hiding and hard to find even for a refill of drinks. I think they forgot my husband's Key Lime Pie and we had to ask about it twice!”

“Our car would not start when we were leaving and the employees went above and beyond to try and help us. They even give us a ride to our lodging since there was no Uber or taxi service out there. Kudos to these guys for there ”

“Our waitress was also the drink maker. She was amazing at both. She was attentive, friendly, and made the dinner experience pleasurable. I just wish I could remember her name to give her props. We will definitely come back just because of our experience with her. The food was great. I just wish the seasoning had a little more kick on my shrimp. Calamari was great. “The food was very good, especially if you wanted fresh seafood. They specialize in local oysters, some of the best in the country. My wife got a Philly Cheese steak, and it was one of the best. The portions were more than adequate, and the service was excellent. Also the prices were very reasonable.”

“I used Tamara's to carter my wedding October 2023, it was so delicious and the set up looked great! Danny was such a pleasure to work with. We saw him out the night before the wedding and he came right up to us and talked with us for quite a bit. He is such a great guy and amazing chef. We aren't local to the area, but frequent 3-4 times a year and we always make sure to stop by Tamara's On the Go at least once or twice for lunch. The food is always so delicious, and will not disappoint!”

“This is a great second floor restaurant with good food and service. There is a ramp located at the end of the building if you don’t do stairs. We were greeted promptly and told we could sit anywhere. There is both indoor and outdoor dining but as it was a bit cold we chose indoors.I had the smash sliders sans bun with a side salad from the salad bar. Not a huge salad bar but adequate and everything fresh. My husband started with the fried green tomatoes. They looked excellent and I wish I could have tried them (but for the breading). He said they were tasty. He then had a flatbread pizza which he said was good but unexciting, but then he chose the boring pepperoni one instead of one of their fancier editions.A nice addition to the local restaurant scene.Wheelchair accessibility: A ramp at the end of the building.”

“They really have some good quality fired grilled pizzas and other authentic Italian cuisines. We ordered some green peppers,onions and mushrooms cheese pizza and we really enjoyed it. We we’re seating right in the front of their Chef who’s making pizzas from the scratch and we had fun watching him while eating our order. We’ll definitely come back to this restaurant for sure.”

“we have stayed here for over 20yr everything was above and beyond but this year was a bummer we had cabin number 21 and it should be torn down it was deplorable the floor in one bedroom was bad you barely could walk on it,bathtub had black scum all around it, tolet seat was loose and falling off the last night there I had things taken off my boatRooms: cabin 21 should be torn downFood & drinks: food was good”

“Fried oysters were super savory, not too masked by the breading, not overcooked. Fries similarly were substantial so as to taste like potato, not like "fried," yet not very thirst-provoking (for fries). Hush puppies were also excellent.”
