“Ordered take out from TK hibachi tonight in Mexico Beach, and we all really enjoyed our dinner! We had shrimp noodles, scallop hibachi and snapper hibachi. The snapper hibachi is probably one of my favorite beach dinners of all time! All options were excellent and the portions were unexpectedly more than enough! Highly recommend!! 🦐🎣🍚😋🙌🎉”

“First and foremost, the food was amazing! The portions are generous, and the owner was super friendly and a joy to talk to. We ordered the chicken Hibachi, and let me tell you, this was some of the best I’ve had. The Chicken was so tender and glazed with a teriyaki type sauce. The vegetables (broccoli, zucchini and carrots) were al dente and had that great grilled flavor that complemented the chicken. The rice was perfectly cooked. The eggroll was super crispy, it was as big as a small burrito! The owner has over 25 years of Hibachi experience, so he knows what he’s doing. We will definitely be back here next year for our fall break. Check these guys out if you’re staying or passing through Mexico Beach! #supportsmallbusinesses”

“We make a special trip to go to the Winn-Dixie in PC to get Sugar free Mug Root Beer and to Killer's Restaurant in Mexico Beach for the most fabulous whole fried flounder in the world! It's fried just right! It's mouth watering great! I recommend Killer's Restaurant 100%!Only two things needed. A telephone number and hours open !”

“We had a late lunch at Bad Mamma Jamma today while staying at Mexico Beach. I had the Soldier buffalo chicken sandwich and it was to die for… dare I say better than the chicken chain we all love?! Yes! It was a huge piece of chicken cooked just right with amazing sauce and seasoned curly fries. Hubs had Shrimp Tacos and said they were delicious. Thank you! The Webers Alabama”

“This past weekend, a large group of Texans came to Port Saint Joe to have the perfect beach wedding. The bride did her research and selected Bayside bakery for wedding cake preparation as well as mini Keylime pies and beautifully decorated cookies for the rehearsal dinner. All of the items were delicious! The cake was so moist and beautifully decorated to the bride’s specifications. The Keylime pies and cookies were the perfect touch after a steak dinner. We would highly recommend the Bayside bakery for all your sweet treat needs!”

“To the person bitching about the bathroom situation at Dagwood’s, (or the lack thereof). In fact it is NOT required to have a public restrooms at a “take-out” restaurant when there is no indoor seating. And, by the way, their prices are more than fair, their food is delicious and consistent, and it is hands down one of the best places to get lunch in Gulf county. Here’s a good idea…go to the bathroom before you go to Dagwood’s, or get your food to go and go home so you have access to a bathroom for the 30-45 minutes it takes you to eat your sandwich. Dagwood’s is the bomb.”

“I get breakfast here once a week as a treat to myself and this morning I got cheese grits as I want to try everything they make. These were the best cheese grits I have ever had, full of flavor, so creamy, so warm. Usually I get it to go and eat when I get home I’m sitting in the parking lot as I type this they didn’t even last the drive. And that’s coming from someone who used to not like grits and it’s because where I was getting grits isn’t doing it the way they’re doing it here. Get the grits!”

“Bruno’s is a great local pizza stop! They’re more than just pizza though! Most recently they helped us with a side dish of pasta for our wedding. Danny and his staff went above and beyond to make the process a breeze and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. We received so many compliments on the pasta (and are still hearing them)! Don’t sleep on Bruno’s when looking for a place to eat - their lunch buffet is one of our favorites (and where we first discovered the pasta)!”

“Don’t sleep on a trip to Joe Mama’s the next time you are in Port St. Joe. I’ve enjoyed brunch there the past two Sundays (so thankful it is back) and let me just say it is top notch. Delicious, generous portions and a great atmosphere. Indoor and patio dining available and a bonus perk- the patio is pet friendly.”

“Came in today for breakfast and we met Sam. He is a great guy and made extremely good bacon, egg and cheese bagels for us! The best we have had anywhere! We also bought some banana nut muffins to go and they were fabulous also. Very nice cafe with great choices and excellent customer service by Sam. If you haven't tried it you should. We will definitely be back.”

“we emailed Jodi Perez a week ahead of time to make a reservation. we were told that don't make any reservations. but as we set there the night we went we watched people come and sit at reserved tables. they do take reservations just not from common people. but don't worry the good is OK. but it isn't great or even really that good. over cooked pasta and steaks. lack of seasoning. marinara that tastes like it came out of a can. No one at our table finished any of the meals. the bar can't even make a traditional old fashioned. but in a email Jodi Perez said it is his business and he can do what he wants. he is correct. good luck with that.”

“My adult daughter and I stopped by to look for a new wine to try. Katie and Dennis (hope spelling is correct) we’re fantastically welcoming and helpful! Atmosphere was comfortable, inviting, and beach classy. We left with 3 new “discoveries” and the HH is definitely on my list of favorite places.”
