“All the reviews are true. The gumbo was so dang good I finished it before we made it back to our house. The sausage in the boil had just the right amount of sweetness, the potatoes were tender and the shrimp was so good I felt like I was eating lobster meat. Everything had just the right amount of heat. Skully shot the breeze with my hubby for a bit and offered cold beer and soda. My husband really enjoyed their interactions. He'll be in business for years to come.”

“My husband and I were passing through town from St. George’s Island to Destin. We just did a Google search for a quick place to eat. We were pleasantly surprised! It’s definitely southern comfort food! When we first walked in, the place seemed quiet and quaint, not at all that impressive. But, we ordered anyways, then sat down on the outdoor porch facing the street/beach side. We had the crab cakes with remoulade sauce, and the pork loin with mushroom cream gravy. Both were great with all of the sides. It was actually quite a nice atmosphere. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. We hope to try their breakfast next time.”

“We picked up pulled pork & sauce from this bbq truck- enough for a number of meals because it’s so good! In all the years we have been coming to visit, we have to get our Gants “fix” and our friends even get some to freeze to take back home (up north) for future meals.”

“The food was good. They are slammed with customers, so it will not be perfect. Beautiful place to sit on the deck or beach to watch the sunset. Staff in the bar, where we dined, are on top of their business. My hats off to the chefs who prepared a late evening dinner.”

“The internet wasn’t lying about this chicken sandwich it was great! Huge freshly fried chicken breast well breaded hot and crunchy, not greasy with solid but simple toppings. Seasoning is perfect with a little heat. Lettuce and tomato were very fresh. Reasonable price point and a great lunch spot. It’s a walk up food truck doesn’t look like much but somebody knows how to cook!”

“This was a spur of the moment decision. The service was mediocre but the food was enjoyable. Calzone was flavorful as were the pizzas. The arugula salad as drenched in dressing and the manager immediately swapped it out. The chowder and ceasar dressing were both excellent. The olives were nothing special. Nice little restaurant with decent food. Service can be improved though.”

“Great food and service, had a great time and was treated well.Mostly seafood but is very good, stuffed mushrooms were excellent and so was the shrimp I had.They are open until 1 am which is good for a late night meal if you like.Will go again.”

“Oh my gosh! It’s the best. Although there are a lot reasons to visit PSJ. Sparks is now one of those reasons. I had ribs and my husband had sliced Pork, sausage and brisket. All were spot on. The Brunswick stew was excellent. Purchased extra to take home with us. If you are picky about your BBQ, you will not be disappointed. Variety of sauces for anyone’s taste buds.”

“Nice spot. Good food truck at a permanent spot right next to the convenient store. Has a fence up for privacy and tables. Food is great quality with a lot to choose from. Is a little pricey but you get your money’s worth.”

“We were so enamored with this restaurant! We're from PCB and have been exploring the area. We asked several people where we should have lunch and everyone suggested Provisions. Boy do they know their stuff! The food was masterfully prepared, very tasteful, fresh and the presentation worth featuring on the cover of "Food and Wine." Rhonda was our server and she was over the top in personality and efficiency. She made great recommendations and my friend was delighted they had half portions. Me, of course consumed the entire full portion. We had a leisurely lunch and never felt rushed at all. Pricing is very good as are the portions. We cannot wait to go back!”

“We spent the past week in Port St. Joe on vacation. When I say just go ahead and skip these expensive dinner choices and go here, I mean it. We spent over $200 the night before for mediocre at best food from one of the most highly rated “fancy” places in town. The best food we had was right in the heart of downtown. Immediately this place had a warm feel, nice smooth music, a play area for my daughter, and most importantly a warm welcome from the staff. The baked Brie & calamari was divine, I immediately noticed the love and admiration put into the food here. I had the salmon dinner special and the others had pasta dishes. The salad served out first had the most delicious dressing I have ever had tossed into fresh mixed greens. This is real chef curated love infused food. I couldn’t say enough good things about any of it, you’re missing out if you skip this hidden gem.”

“Hands down the best Italian food in the area - my family and I enjoyed the ravioli, grouper, lasagna and spaghetti & meatballs. Preparing the spaghetti and meatballs at our table with the cheese wheel was such a wonderful touch! Desserts were also phenomenal!”

“This place is so worth it. We rarely go to the same place twice on vacation. Went three times. The crab bisque and bee sting shrimp were outstanding but the stuffed mushrooms were outstanding. Service was wonderful.”
