“Excellent dinner with great service!“

“we emailed Jodi Perez a week ahead of time to make a reservation. we were told that don't make any reservations. but as we set there the night we went we watched people come and sit at reserved tables. they do take reservations just not from common people. but don't worry the good is OK. but it isn't great or even really that good. over cooked pasta and steaks. lack of seasoning. marinara that tastes like it came out of a can. No one at our table finished any of the meals. the bar can't even make a traditional old fashioned. but in a email Jodi Perez said it is his business and he can do what he wants. he is correct. good luck with that.“

“We are regular diners at this restaurant and we absolutely love everything we've had. Today there was a salmon wellington special. We had the lunch portion with a side Caesar salad. Probably the best meal I've had yet.

Update, we continue to be regular patrons and I would write this as one of our two favorite restaurants in the area.“

“To the person bitching about the bathroom situation at Dagwood’s, (or the lack thereof). In fact it is NOT required to have a public restrooms at a “take-out” restaurant when there is no indoor seating. And, by the way, their prices are more than fair, their food is delicious and consistent, and it is hands down one of the best places to get lunch in Gulf county. Here’s a good idea…go to the bathroom before you go to Dagwood’s, or get your food to go and go home so you have access to a bathroom for the 30-45 minutes it takes you to eat your sandwich. Dagwood’s is the bomb.“

“Don’t sleep on a trip to Joe Mama’s the next time you are in Port St. Joe. I’ve enjoyed brunch there the past two Sundays (so thankful it is back) and let me just say it is top notch. Delicious, generous portions and a great atmosphere. Indoor and patio dining available and a bonus perk- the patio is pet friendly.“
