“If I could give this place 10 stars, then I would! My wife and I are total food snobs. We rarely eat out because we just don't see the value in it and quite frankly, we can cook better than 99% of the restaurants.Well, this is one of the 1% place we cannot cook better! We ordered the low country boil for two people for takeout. We rarely carry cash (this is a cash-only place) and had only 30$ between us. The very kind owners said "yeah that's plenty, if you can come back with the rest!" Who does that in today's society? Of course we came back with the rest of the money later that night. Now, onto the food. As I said, we did takeout and got a very heavy plastic bag of food. We got home (we were staying less than 2 mins away) and I pulled one of the plastic containers out of the bag. It was filled to the brim with incredible shrimp, sausage and a few pieces of corn and potatoes. I thought WOW what a great deal and I figured the OTHER container would have filler like corn and potatoes. So I peeked in there and nope, same thing! It was filled to the brim with the same amount of food! The shrimp were perfectly done and not overcooked. The thing that really got me was the ears of corn. Usually the corn is water logged and quite frankly, not all that tasty. However, here it was just perfect! Everything was beyond delicious! Now I'm a big eater. I rarely get my fill at a restaurant, but with this meal, we literally had 5 meals between my wife and I. It was just as good leftover cold the next day as it was the first. So in summary, probably one of the best, most friendliest places I've ever been too. Just go, you will NOT be disappointed!!!!“

“Delicious soul food type restaurant. Lunch special is meat and two vegetables, bread, and drink. About $13. We had stuffed peppers today, spinach with corn, lima beans with okra and Mexican cornbread. All was delicious. Wifey also had stuffed pepper, green beans, and carrots. Carrots tasted very similar to sweet potatoes, yummy. No Frills atmosphere, small dining room inside or picnic tables outside“

“The food was good. They are slammed with customers, so it will not be perfect. Beautiful place to sit on the deck or beach to watch the sunset. Staff in the bar, where we dined, are on top of their business. My hats off to the chefs who prepared a late evening dinner.“

“Went there with my Daughter's family and In laws. The service and food were outstanding! I f you are ever on the Panhandle in Florida you must visit. I was totally amazed at how good the salad and pizza were and the size of the soda were big and I did not need to ask for a refill as it was not a small glass populated with ice. Highly recommended and I will go back again when I am in the area“

“Awesome omelet for a decent price. My waitress wasn't very friendly she never asked how my food was and my check was on the table before I was done eating. This happens a lot when I'm dining alone. Is it because single guys don't tip as good as a group? Is she judging my looks? Either way, I felt under appreciated. So I left a 50% tip. Treat every customer like they're your best customer.“

“We had lunch there. Super nice staff and really great food. Hubby had a grouper sandwich that could have fed 2. I had shrimp tacos that were super yummy. We ate inside cause it was raining, but on a nice day, outside would have been very nice. We definitely would have gone back if we had been there longer.“
