“We got married on the beach last night, and this is our first visit to St. George Island. We had set a late ceremony hoping for the sunset…but the rain came. Made the best of it, and took advice from the SGI facebook page to try BJ’s! We didn’t get to the restaurant until 930, and walked in and asked what time do you close. One of the ladies at the counter told us 10 o’clock it was 25 till she had no problem taking our order and telling us it was fine and that we could sit there and eat. What great customer service, and the kind that you don’t see much anymore. Busy day, so we were good & hungry. The chicken bacon pizza was so delicious, the crust was perfect.!! The desserts were delicious and served as our “wedding cake” ☺️This place is fantastic! The service given to us by Lindsey and Gracen (hope I got the names correct) was off the chart 5 star!!⭐️ these two ladies went above and beyond even took our picture dancing in the restaurant, we considered this our first dance as a married couple! No need to go anywhere else to eat but BJ’s! Hats off to both you ladies for making our wedding night so memorable, it was truly so special.“

“Although we like going here when we come to SGI, the 1-2 hour wait to be seated is never worth it. Come at the off times. The food is good but fairly expensive compared to others in SGI. They also provide a limited menu except when it comes to oysters (yes, they are a raw bar). They seated our table and 3-4 others in our area at the same time and then proceeded to work through the tables one at a time. Drinks/appetizer/meals/dessert/checks. Even though we did not get appetizers or dessert, we had to wait for all the other tables to be served and finish before we could get our meals or our check. It seemed like they were short-handed how slow everything was.“

“Yet another update: They've added specialty donuts and everything looks and tastes amazing. Definitely get there early though. We showed up before they opened and there was already a line. They used to be cash only, but now they accept Venmo as well. Make sure to be prepared when you come to the front! The nekkid donuts are very much still my favorite, but I've yet to find one that isn't a winner.

Update: They remembered me! Knew where i was from, asked how I was and if i was still doing the same sort of work. The donuts are still excellent! Check the menu and know what you want though, as it changes daily. That is the number one thing that holds up the line and frustrates other patrons. My picture is from 6/21/22. If you're not sure what you want, you can ask the owner to just fill your dozen with whatever are her favorites are. She has marvelous taste. Still a five star establishment.

Previous review: Donuts that are well worth ANY sort of wait. Make sure to check their Facebook page for the list of available flavors, but the Nekkid ones are my favorite. The people working the shop are very kind as well and will keep you talking while they make your order so the wait feels shorter. If you're on the island, stop here at least once.“

“Shout out to Harley who waited on us a few weeks ago. She was very attentive and went above and beyond . My 89 year old mom was with us and she was so kind as to push mom in closer to the table as we were in the high top chairs that you need help to get closer . Also mom ordered peel and eat shrimp and she peeled them for mom! Wow….. So very kind of her ! The meal was also delish! Thank you Harley!“

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We had called ahead for our group of 17. They were more than happy to accommodate us! The service was top notch. Such friendly staff! We have had oysters and shrimp numerous times before from different places, but something about Lynn’s makes them the best. The royal reds were so flavorful. The different types of cooked oysters were fun! The raw oysters were out of this world. Nothing like we’ve had before. We will always give Lynn’s our business whenever we come down.“

“The station is our family favorite when we come for vacation. We've been coming several years and the whole experience this year was just as good as the rest. Doug was our server and he was exceptional, he took the best care of our group. The captain jack oysters are always amazing along with the rest of the food. Can't wait until our visit next year.“
