“The food, drinks, & view!“

“This was our first dinner on the island and it did not disappoint! I got the seafood platter and I had to take it in a to go box! We'll worth the money. I can't wait to try the breakfast!“

“Wonderful laid-back atmosphere, good place for a couple of drinks. The service was pretty slow and not very attentive the last time we were there, although it was good the time before.. Seating is mostly picnic bench -style, not very comfortable. I'm ambivalent on the food. I had the salad bowl with shrimp, which was excellent but I was still hungry after it. On the other hand my wife had a regular salad that came with a large portion of chicken breast and she loved it.“

“Harry A's has a great staff and the food was average, however, it's known for being great Nightlife, so we can say two thumbs up. The staff told us there is a new owner and now they will be serving Steaks. The bartender Jeromy actually had the kitchen prepare a filet that night for us the sample. The best tasting filet I have had all summer. This is place if you want a steak. Thanks for a great evening Jeromy.“

“Food was good but we all agreed that a little less salt in the batter would have been better. I like salt in my food but it had a little to much.

Now past that we really enjoyed it. Good local bears, good service, order came out fast.“

“I rode the coast over from the other side of Tallahassee just to enjoy a nice Saturday and ended up in Apalachicola. I checked Google for a good place and Hope in the Wall was tops and right in front of me. The oysters were outstanding, the grouper was really good and even though the place was packed out, everyone was really friendly. Had a chance to talk to a couple of employees working oysters and the bar and they were super. 100% going back again.“

“Had a late lunch at Lynn's today and everything was top notch. The raw oysters and the peel and eat shrimp were the best. Our servers Lynn M and June took excellent care of us. The view was an extra bonus.“

“Had a late supper Thursday evening June 9th our server was Denitzia (sorry if I have your name misspelled) Then came back for Sunday Breakfast June 12th Katie was our server and made The Best Bloody Mary’s !! “Hole in the wall seafood spots are always # 1 to me ! Grouper plate was large, 4 pieces of grouper, i had green beans, they had ham hock and onions in them. Taste like home made ! Hush puplies were great so was the sweet tea, atmosphere is cool and chilled out, outdoor dining deck gices a nice view of the water, service was great ! For sure coming back. 1 down side is they are not dog friendly, but understandable seeing as the only way to the dining deck is through the front door, who wants a dog walking through the dining room. Love the place, passed by for years finally stopped in. You wont regret giving them a shot !!!!“

“Want peace, quiet, friendly fisherfolk, relaxation, and an amazing breakfast? This is your place.

I’ve read the negative comments, and they are easily summed up by the following. If your idea of ordering coffee includes “skim milk, double pump, cold foam”, this is probably not your cup of tea.

The only thing that could make this place better, is fully reopening the restaurant. Miss those days.“

“Awesome food and awesome service. We will definitely be back! We got drinks at Oyster Brewery and the walked over and ate at Tamara’s Cafe. It was wonderful walking outside to everything and the kids enjoyed themselves too! It was very nice to sit and eat while having the view next to the bay.
