“Had a great time here. Food was excellent. Drinks were delicious. Staff was all very nice and accommodating. Spent time at both the tiki bar and the restaurant and enjoyed both.Parking: There is parking in a gravel lot directly in front of the restaurant, and there is also a gravel lot across the street that people seem to use for overflow parking“
“We rode 13 miles up and down the island then stopped in for breakfast. Very crowded at 10 am but we sat at the bar. Between the two of us we had pancakes, bacon and eggs, and a bacon and cheese omelette and hashbrowns. All very good and priced right! Pretty swift service. Would return.“
“We had dinner three times at Harry A’s this past week. Yes 3 times! Once on the patio and two nights we picked up. We loved everything we ordered. Our waiter and staff were great the night we ate at the restaurant. So glad our family talked us into going there to eat. Nice hidden gem!“
“The food was very good, especially if you wanted fresh seafood. They specialize in local oysters, some of the best in the country. My wife got a Philly Cheese steak, and it was one of the best. The portions were more than adequate, and the service was excellent. Also the prices were very reasonable.“
“Lynn's quality oysters were just that incredible! With an excellent choice of sauces including some locally made super hot one's. My wife had the steamed shrimp and also fantastic. The folks there were super friendly. We'll definitely be back. Oh, and the homemade key lime pie was amazing!!! I also took a to go gumbo and tried it. I can't wait to finish it tomorrow.“
“Ever in East Point, drop in, especially on Friday evenings and Saturday for the live acoustic shops. We were able to catch Iron City Recording artist Dallas Wayne. He can cover some of the greats real well. Service is excellent. Bathrooms not so much.“
“After experiencing a dismal attempt at dining at the Tap Room in Apalachicola we went Up The Creek. Service was good Order 1 dozen raw 2 drinks. Shrimp basket and wife had fried Grouper. And then the shocker. $110.00. Holy $()/? Biden says inflation is not bad. Well he ain't been to this place. Still like the place. Good view of the river and occasional shrimp boat coming by.“
“We enjoyed the atmosphere and the oysters. My husband and brother-in-law had the seafood gumbo. I thought it was pretty pricey for a bowl at $18.50 and they both said there was no seafood in it..just broth and rice a small pieces. Must have been scooped from the top as we see most people enjoyed it. They were very disappointed.“
“I used Tamara's to carter my wedding October 2023, it was so delicious and the set up looked great! Danny was such a pleasure to work with. We saw him out the night before the wedding and he came right up to us and talked with us for quite a bit. He is such a great guy and amazing chef. We aren't local to the area, but frequent 3-4 times a year and we always make sure to stop by Tamara's On the Go at least once or twice for lunch. The food is always so delicious, and will not disappoint!“
“Hidden gem in Appalachicola if you are willing to walk 10 minutes from the more touristy downtown area. Food was tasty, talked with several fun locals, the band was good and the drinks were stout. Good way to end a day on the Forgotten Coast.“
“Stop in as for the name of Up to No Good Tavern which is part of this restaurant. Great flat bread - I had the Olive flatbread with mozzarella and Parmesan, it was great! The drinks were good- I enjoyed my Bloody Mary. Staff very pleasant.“
“Came for Sunday brunch. Oysters were just ok but the Franklin tartine was really good. Service was lackadaisical. I asked for more water and 15 minutes later, without any water, our waitress returned and asked if we wanted anything else. I guess water was in short supply.“
“Beautiful old restored building, we went for an early lunch on a weekday, it was not busy. Sadly we weren't seated by a window, we were in the piano lounge near the piano and their wine room, which was nice and quiet. The gumbo was really good, big hunks of gator, whole shrimp, the broth was very flavorful. I do wish they'd used some younger okra, the piece I got in the gumbo was very hard and unable to be chewed completely. That did not discourage me from eating it all. I had the Tripletail Reuben, it was delicious. The rye was toasted and very fresh and light, the fish piece wasn't skimpy, cooked beautifully, served at the perfect temperature, the kraut not too sour and the sauce not too sweet. My husband had the fried shrimp and he said they were great. I would eat here again. But I think I'll ask for the window seat next time ?.“
“This is not a fancy restaurant but the view is pretty and the food is good and affordable! We had the Shrimp Basket, fries, corn nuggets, fried okra, and the salad bar. The waitresses are sweet and food comes out very timely. You can eat inside or sit outside in the screened porch and enjoy the view. We ate there twice, once inside and once outside.“
“Came a little after 1 on a Wednesday- happened to be a day a storm was coming in so everyone was out and about shopping. The Owl Tap Room was busy and only had 1 server/ bartender. My sister and I had books and weren’t in a hurry but could see how someone that was could be frustrated. The food was good! Got a half. Tan dip- I typically like a hot crab dip but this was cold and very flavorful with yummy homemade tortilla chips. We had the wings breaded - worth it! And shared a the pasta carbonara with grilled shrimp. It was pretty good - large portion. Also had a side of fries - they were good but we didn’t need them and didn’t really get eaten. Chill, no rush spot. Shared a chocolate mousse cake - I wouldn’t call it a cake- it is chocolate mousse on top of a nut crumble - super rich and drizzled with chocolate and caramel I believe. It was good!“
“we have stayed here for over 20yr everything was above and beyond but this year was a bummer we had cabin number 21 and it should be torn down it was deplorable the floor in one bedroom was bad you barely could walk on it,bathtub had black scum all around it, tolet seat was loose and falling off the last night there I had things taken off my boatRooms: cabin 21 should be torn downFood & drinks: food was good“
“Awesome food and awesome service. We will definitely be back! We got drinks at Oyster Brewery and the walked over and ate at Tamara’s Cafe. It was wonderful walking outside to everything and the kids enjoyed themselves too! It was very nice to sit and eat while having the view next to the bay.Kid-friendliness: Stationary food truck with picnic tables and great outside atmosphere!“
“This was our first time coming to Paddy's and we had a wonderful experience. The food, atmosphere, live music, and service all exceeded our expectations. The Raw Oysters were perfect, the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl was so good we ordered a second one, and the crab legs were impressive! Thanks for a great night out!“
