“Our food was good, but the presentation had a lot to be desired. Our waitress Sarah was ok, but not very attentive. We were disappointed that there was no bread so I ordered some side bread. It was a large dry croissant looking thing that was returned.Then here comes Ansley and saves the day. She was very attentive and was concerned with how we liked our meals..If we had a single reason to return, it would be Ansley. She was great!“

“My family ate twice at American Charlie while we were in Panama City because it was so good! Service was fast, the portions were large enough that we had leftovers (we eat ALOT)! We ordered the southwest chicken salad, burger, ribs, and wings. The place was clean and had comfortable seating. The staff was friendly. We will definitely be back if we vacation in Panama City again!“
“Yup, officially one of my favorite restaurants and I am SO mad that I didn't get pictures this time. We had a pretty big party of 11. They sat us in less than 15 minutes and were so quick to get us settled in and take our orders. We got there around 6:30 and it wasn't too crowded, especially for a Friday night. I got a margarita, as I always do, which was the PERFECT size. We got three appetizers: the calamari (I could literally drink the sauce that comes with it), the crab cakes, and the wagyu meatball- it is GIANT. All three were 5 stars across the board. For my entree, I got the filet with a side of whipped potatoes (which I want to drown in), and a side of asparagus. I loved every minute of this dinner. We left around 8pm and that is when it started to pick up, so keep that in mind if you're not wanting to wait too long here. I can't wait to visit Panama City Beach again solely so I can come back here. 10/10 recommend!!“
“Nice views, quick service. Okay food, good selection for the kids meals. The Mahi Mahi blackened with potatoes for $30 was overpriced. It appeared to be the same piece of fish that was on our Mahi Mahi BLT. I would recommend the Mahi Mahi BLT. Good server, ribs were tender buck lakced flavor.“
“Today my boyfriend and I went for dinner to mikes. We had the most amazing seafood platter that came with a side salad and got a side of fries. Everything from the shrimp to the crab claw to the corn was incredible and the banana pudding for dessert was excellent. Our server Rosie was so nice and attentive and she was great! “Wish I could give 5 stars. Beautiful restaurant, cozy atmosphere. Loved the alligator pond. I had the broiled combo of shrimp and scallops. My partner had the grilled Parmesan shrimp. Both our shrimp was overcooked. However my scallops were excellent, best I ever had! Wish they put the butter on the good baked potatoes instead of leaving basket on table with tiny containers to open! Their mixed vegetables and Cole slaw were fresh and good. We brought cash to pay, told our waiter before bringing our check, yet he added a non-cash adjustment charge ($2+) that we didn't notice and paid it! We would return, just not order broiled/grilled shrimp.“

“Always my go to oyster place while in PCB with ice cold beer. I always get at least one dozen raw! This time added a shrimp po-boy, onion rings and fried green tomatoes. Wife had chicken tenders. Everything was good as always. We sat out back by the water for lunch which was nice. We actually drove over from Grayton Beach before we left to head back home. Always good service. We'll be back! “This is a spectacular place to dine , situated in the heart of the lagoons where you get a true taste of local seafood and an array of food items from the menu , the staff is properly trained in which keeps you coming back , I've been there more than 10 times and I'm looking forward to going again . “Was there in November. We (boyfriend & I) walked the beach and found hook'd. The drinks and food were awesome but most of all I want the bartender ZACHARY to know how awesome he is My boyfriend was able to guess his name which zachary seemed surprised that someone actually guessed his name right. “I don’t remember the gentleman name who served us, but he was Jamaican and had the BEST Customer Service ever. Party of 4 with a baby. His customer service skills he went far and above. “This is a great restaurant on the beach with a wonderful view. Order the Chef special. Swordfish topped with grilled shrimp and asparagus with a fantastic Quinoa. The only issue was the entry and interaction with the host. Our server Cody was Fantastic. Super helpful and very prompt. 5 stars for him. Would definitely come back and highly recommend the Chef special.“

C Level hit all the marks, we sat at the bar, great and friendly service from Ben the bartender. The wife a killer Blackberry Mojito and I had a few beers. We got dinner, a loaded burger and shrimp and grits. Both were excellent despite the place filling quickly with guests. It was our type of place and crowd, older and lively. “We visited San Marcos on the evening of 4/11/23. Merichris was our server and she was very nice and attentive. We started with chips (very thin and fresh), salsa and cheese dip, which were all really good. We ordered the Top Shelf Margaritas and enjoyed them as well. I got a combo meal and my husband the enchiladas. It was not a busy night, about 100 patrons were there and the food was coming out hot and fast. We decided to try the Margarita flight and that was the only thing we did not enjoy, way too sweet, i should have ordered another Top Shelf. We are happy we finally tried this establishment and we will return.“
“This is a great spot. Yes I missed out on their blue crab, but when things come in fresh it’s first in first out. Their snow crab is good, but their fresh raw oysters are excellent. They are the smaller ones, but this that love oysters know the small ones taste so much better than the large ones. The key lime pie is pretty good too. Being from the the Texas Gulf Coast, I will be back.“

“Nice to have a restaurant in a Hyatt place. We sat outside, the view of the pool and beach was nice. My wife loved the shrimp fettuccine she got. The shrimp were huge. Very strong in garlic and cheese. I got the hamburger. It was decent but nothing special. The calamari was really good, the sauce had a nice kick to it. The server was attentive. My wife liked her drinks, she did the Tiki Mai Tai and a Margarita in Paridise. They weren't very strong though.“

“We decided to come here with our kids for lunch. We live across the bridge in Panama City, and we visited the beach one day before the kids left to see their dad for vacation. We love the fact that the kids can swim while you wait on your food. We ordered burgers, chicken tenders, and a chicken burger. I have had chicken at so many places over the years, and i can say this place, hands down, has the best crispy chicken i have ever had anywhere. I tell people about it often when they ask for recommendations on where to eat. The service was also good and our waitress was friendly. Alcoholic beverages are a little pricey, but most are on the beach. Haven't had a chance to go back yet, but we are going to the beach with some friends in a few weeks, and we will definitely be taking them here and letting the kids swim.“
“We went specifically for the all you can eat crab legs. They set up the crab legs nicely with a person specifically on the line to rotate the legs so they stay fresh. The butter was good. “Let me start off with the food was amazing. The bucket was a little pricy at $75, but it can feed 3 easily, maybe 4. Our waiter just didn't tell us we could probably all share so we ended up with a bucket and 2 full entrees. Atmosphere was a little weird, not bad tho. The decor and dining space are clean and upscale, the NBC news on the TV was a little odd and then Nelly playing over the speaker system threw me for a loop. I think they were just trying to find their Spring Break vibe. But beachside dining and again, great food.“
