You will question that you are entering the restaurant because it's not really denoted, but it's worth the adventure.Situated on a golf course, you think to yourself that you shouldn't be here, but you SHOULD.The food is so wonderful that it is absolutely worth the drive off the beaten path. Yes , you will wait a little bit but that is precisely a very good sign that everything is fresh and details oriented. “My wife and I moved to St Augustine a few months ago. We tried a few BBQ places in the area. They were just ok. But we kept hearing about Brisky’s from almost everyone we encountered. Well, we finally stopped in and our mouths were blown away. This is REAL BBQ. The ribs, brisket, baked beans and homemade potato salad were of the hook !!! We met the owners, very friendly couple, and had a chance to chat with them. They make every attempt to check in (touch the table) with every customer. Very impressive. I’ve owned two restaurants in the past and I’ll say that they have what it takes. We will definitely be back. Oh and the bread pudding was the BEST I’ve ever had.”

“A group of us went to Sonnys on the Fourth of July for lunch. The ribs were very good some said the best they’ve ever had. I had the big meal deal with the beef sandwich and the beef was very tender. Service was great. Only thing we miss is the salad bar🥲”

“We had Tallarines Verdes with hanger steak and Mar Y Tierra. Both were amazing and a good portion size. For dessert we had Sacred Valley. It was so delicious that we contemplated ordering a second for the car ride home. If we are back in St. Augustine, we will be coming back to Llama.”

We had a last minute order for our cleaning week lunch and not only did they put it together quickly for us , but it was so good that we ordered again the next day!! “Disclaimer: I’m a native Texan, traveling on vacation.
This place offered an elevated dining experience. It wasn’t your typical local food joint. We only had appetizers and drinks, but that was enough to know it was exactly what our foodie hearts were craving.
We tried two craft cocktails—the Double Vision and the Lavender Haze. Whoever came up with the idea of mixing carrot, ginger, whiskey, and fennel was pure genius. It was such an exciting drink, perfectly made—we could’ve easily had a few more. The lavender drink was equally refreshing and intoxicating.
Small menu - which we love. We like when restaurants perfect everything, instead of a large menu where everything is mediocre.
We enjoyed the fish and sausage egg roll.
I’m a Minorcan chowder girl, and I could’ve easily swum in a bathtub of that tasty conch soup. It was that good.
The atmosphere was peaceful and beautiful, setting the perfect vibe for an intimate experience. Everything about the vibe was just right.”

“We were in St Augustine for DH’s birthday and stopped by for the best cup of coffee we’ve had in a long time!! So we decided to go again on early Sunday hoping they’d be open otw home! And they were!! Michael bright a complimentary bagel 🥯 LOADED with cream cheese and jalapeños. A minute later the largest, piping hot, DELICIOUS egg , cheese and bacon bagels arrived with our specialty coffees! Sloan and Michael, the owners, take care of their customers and produce an excellent product!!! Sweetwater will our first stop next time we visit!”

“Dear husband and I had breakfast here. DH (vegetarian) had the breakfast bagel. I (vegan) had the Present Moment bowl with added tofu. Delicious!! The women working behind the counter were everything wonderful! Pleasant and knowledgeable. We definitely recommend!”

“I was on vacation when I saw this restaurant in St. Augustine FL. I saw the menu and said I have to go in and get something! I am a grilled cheese connoisseur and I make some good ones myself but oh my gosh, the grilled Mac and Cheese I had with I can't remember what kind of meat was AMAZING! So was the tomato soup! This amazing 70's music was playing inside and I was dancing waiting for my take out. It was so cool inside! They asked for my name and I told them. Little did I know when I came back in a few days later where we ate inside that time, that the man who waited on me 2 days before would remember me and call me by name! Holy cow! That was so cool! He said it was because I was dancing. I'm a dancer with 5 trophies so yeah, I was dancing to that good music but to remember me like that! If you love grilled Mac and Cheese or just grilled cheese in general and you love tomato soup, you have to eat here! I promise you will not be disappointed at all! Next time I want some Poutine and another sandwich! YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“Hearty food with excellent spins on traditional favorites. The fried banana peppers were a table favorite. Cheese steak egg rolls and pb&j wings were outstanding. Top 3 patty melts I’ve ever had and their take on the pot pie is awesome. I cannot recommend this place enough.
