A pleasant surprise. We wandered into this beautiful property in a historic St. Augustine home. So for starters, this was a blind find. It's new and we hadn't heard about it yet. We happened to be hungry. So we started with the bread service and a crisp Laurent Perrier Rose. The pictures are of the delicious dishes we tried. Wonderful!!! Great service from Jessie!!!! He was very personable and did a great job with the menu and made our dinner a joy! Jordan was also a plus for his conversation. The menu is classic with interesting twists. The Duck Terrine was delicious and a big portion, the Escargot could not have been better, the Quiche was rich and flavorful with a delicate puff pastry crust. We had the most wonderful couples Valentine's dinner at La Nouvelle! We ordered every appetizer on the menu and passed our plates. I would order every single item again BUT my favorites were the beet terrine & burgundy escargots. Dinner was somehow even better than the starters. So many incredible flavors; Michael Lugo and his team have done such a beautiful job curating not only the food menu but also the wine list (which is spectacular). Don't skip dessert!
