It's a very quaint old fashioned mom and pop type cafe. The food was great.
Service and food quality have gone downhill
Great food, service and nostalgic atmosphere!
There is a hidden charge for extra plate request. Never come and ask about refill for Soda.
The sweet tea is next level. Not too sweet. Just right. The burger was delicious, cooked to perfection
I had the fish sandwich. Best fish sandwich ever. My new favorite place is Jim's place.

Pizza was overcooked and dry. Crust was paper thin, not like NY style at all.
Bench seat where I was sitting was encrusted with years of food spilled into the slats. Cleaning needs improvement.
This was our first visit. It won't be our last! Great food and service. Very noisy but the food was worth it. Great calzone!

Took the family down to Elton to enjoying Sykes Corn Maze. My son noticed Jim’s Place about 1 mile or two before we got to maze. After running amuck through the maze they decided they were starving. My son said how about that place on the way in. So we popped in and was pleasantly surprised. Jims isn’t fancy, it’s good ol country. It’s small but has surprisingly good seating, indoors and out. It is wheel chair accessible too. You walk in and order at counter. Menu has many options and the portions are fabulous! I had a chef salad… now a days you get tons of lettuce and light toppings. I can’t tell you how much turkey and ham there was! Lots of cheese, onion, black olive. The roll that accompanied it was huge and slathered in delicious butter. My people had the 1/2 pound burger… I’ve never seen such a thick, juicy burger. Those things I swear were an inch thick!!! We also enjoyed corn nuggets and onion rings… both to die for. I’d be interested in trying their pizza too! Pepsi products and adult beverages.(beer and white claws) If you’re in Elton, Florida please support local and try Jim’s Place. Parking ample.
