Tsukino Sushi Bar & Japanese Cuisine

Kelly made it for me and my homie. We eat a lot of sushy but these guys are artists. They use creativity and flavor to enhance the experience. They also were very friendly when sitting right up front. Officially regulars starting today.

Where do I begin?!?!?! Absolutely amazing!
Without question the best sushi in the area! I normally don't care for eel, I find it rubbery. Kim changed that! His seared eel (which he suggested I try) was ridiculous! It had the texture of seared yellowtail! The seaweed salad with diakon was perfect and the seared tuna melts in your mouth! I am already planning on dinner here tomorrow!!

Fresh! Generous nigiri portions! I popped in today for lunch and decided I needed to try some of their nigiri as well as the poke bowl lunch special, and I was very impressed. The owner, Reagan, was behind the sushi bar preparing our food and providing my colleague and I with great conversation. If like me you consider yourself a sushi connoisseur, you absolutely have to give Tsukino a shot. 10/5 stars. If I find myself back here for work, I will absolutely return.

Absolutely top-tier sushi. Fresh, generous cuts—including toro, salmon belly, and UNI—at great prices! Chef Kelly is a master with incredible skill and the entire team is friendly and attentive. Clean, welcoming atmosphere and flawless service. Truly, a hidden gem!

I’ve been around the world for sushi (see it in plenty of my other reviews) and this place is hands above most I’ve tried. Between the super happy owner behind the counter, the friendly and courteous staff, the insanely fresh fish, everything is beyond exceptional. I will be making the trip no matter where in Florida I’m visiting.

the cutest little place i’ve been here a couple times now. The sushi is delicious and the edamame is great. the price is also amazing, we got 3 rolls, 2 drinks and an app for just under $50. we love it here and will continue to return!

I had no idea this place was under new ownership, I had eaten there two years ago when it was like a Thai/sushi place and the food was Meh ? not that great, just decided to drop by years later since We were in the area, I ordered 2 specialty rolls The Kyoto and The Crispy Coconut, I noticed right off the bat that something changed, these rolls looked beautiful!! Not only did they look delicious, they tasted outstanding! Completely Blown away! The sushi chef took his time on these rolls cause they just hit different..he’s legit!! Now I don’t have to drive all the way to St Pete for good sushi! Love this place, can’t wait to try more, also his menu has so many choices I want to try more, they all sound so delicious.

This sushi place is an absolute gem! The sushi was not only delicious but so fresh, you could really taste the quality. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the owner was incredibly warm and welcoming – you feel right at home as soon as you step in. Everything was spotless and well-kept, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I truly had a fantastic time and highly recommend!
