We have tried this place several times because everybody loves it so much. I do not get it. The donuts are good, but so are everbody elses good and in fact most are better.

Apple fritters are the BEST, but they go FAST so get there early or call in an order. Cinnamon "snails" are also delicious. Both come in 2 sizes.

Best Donuts but it has moved! It's now down 41 in the events center. the rent went up and they could not cover the expense.

The donuts were huge and really, really delicious. Duncan donuts can’t hold a candle to these donuts. Try them, you’ll love them. Right next to the Englewood event center by Race Trac on 776

We went into Englewood to grab donuts from Abbe’s and witnessed the store owner screaming at the poor girl for nothing and going through HER PURSE. She maintained focus on the customers while trying to handle his rudeness. I’ve never seen any store owner behave that way towards employees before. He did this IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. I will no longer be supporting the business and I hope that poor girl can find a new job so she doesn’t have to work under him any longer.

Best donuts ever! Make sure you get there early.I really like the location as there isn't any good pastrey this far.I love the apple fritters. Crunchy on the outside with lots of cinnamon...could use more apples though.

Abbes has a store in Englewood and Port Charlotte both have the freshest donuts if you want a filled donut they cut them and fill them with plenty of the filling you desire. Definitely get your monies worth and a very tasty treat
Glad we finally found new location. Next to Englewood Event Center at Box Office vertical sign. Other than a small paper sign, you'd never notice it. At least a poster board is needed. Closed Mondays.

They moved to a different location and are thriving. Dunkin Donuts moved in real close to their old location in Englewood so they moved east a couple of miles. Dunkin couldn't match Abbe's quality.

They are now located at Englewood Event Center. An ample array of donuts was available but go early for the best selection. The donuts are not baked at this location but they are always fresh and tasty. I would choose Abbe's over Dunkin anytime.
