Just a heads up .... The Wine bar was hit hard by hurricane Ian .... It's CLOSED. Too bad because it was a nice place . They say they will be re-opening ,but not in the near future.

Don't just drive by this unassuming location right before the bridge on the way to Englewood beach! Seating choices include an indoor bar, outdoor covered and open air waterfront seating. The staff was friendly and they even offer live music. Now for the best part. Seriously * delicious * food. Think world class delicious and a menu that is refreshingly different from the other beach restaurants. The beet salad? GET IT!! This isn't just about beets and you'd like it even if you didn't like beets. House made blackberry sangria? Just say "yes".Tonight's dinner for me was a thick cut pork loin over sweet, creamy grits with asparagus & hubby got the grouper tacos. Both ridiculously great. And that's not just the sangria talking. ?It's a little pricey at $25 - $40 per dinner entree, but you can order from the lunch menu all day as well if you want the same quality on a budget. Your taste buds will thank you either way.

We had a group of 20 dine here last night. What a wonderful dining experience! Drinks came quickly. Our server was extremely pleasant and helpful. The crab cakes and the burrata salad were both superb.

Food was good! Hostess and husband were very nice! Waiter had a great personality. Little pricey for portion. Shop is pricey and woman running it not very friendly. All in all nice place to try!

We eagerly anticipated dining at Beach Road for my husband’s birthday. Past meals were delicious. Our most recent visit was very disappointing. Our table was in the path of people entering and leaving the boat rental area. The table was not under an umbrella and the sun was in my eyes. Although our waiter was very personable he did not bring us bread or offer coffee or dessert. The ahi tuna appetizer was good but not exceptional. My grilled chicken was dry. The lemon risotto was good as was my husband’s salmon but not outstanding and certainly not worth the price. In addition my husband’s asparagus was tough and stringy. I doubt we will return to Beach Road when it reopens.

Delicious food and fun atmosphere for dock and dine experience. We took our boat to this resteraunt for a late Sunday lunch. Docking was easy and they had ropes already available to tie our boat. We ate outside at a table on the patio where we could see the water, the docks and listen to the live music- a man playing the guitar and singing. Atmosphere was lovely for a warm sunday afternoon. Our group ate Pulled pork sliders, grouper sandwich, fish tacos and the beet salad with giat cheese. Everything was delicious. We also had some nice sangia. overall a great experience. Will go back again!

Great for lunch by the marina. Food is spectacular. I had a Special kind of Caprese salad and added Ahi tuna. Outstanding.

Nice place to have lunch. Outside seating only I think. Right on the water. Limited menu but we all managed to find something to eat.We actually ate there twice because my wife liked the location. The service was very good. you may want to make reservations for busy times

My father and I were visiting family in Florida on my Spring Break and we had a wonderful dinner at this quaint location. We dined al fresco looking out at the marina and bay. Right from the start we knew we were in for a special treat as the hostess and manager (Tracy) greeted us with kindness and cheerfully when we arrived. A guitarist/singer named Daryl was performing that evening and the music set a perfect ambiance. The food exceeded our expectations as well. I had the scallops and my father had the New York Strip. The food was cooked to perfection and the portions were generous. Our waitress and all of the staff were super helpful and attentive. The owner (Jill) even stopped by to meet us and to check on our every need. We will look forward to coming back again soon. We highly recommend the Beach Road Wine Bar and Bistro!

Arrived for a 4:30 pm reservation to an almost empty restaurant. Shortly after about 5 more tables filled. We ordered a glass of wine, a beer and the Tuna appetizer. The sauces were wonderful but tuna was dry. I had the shrimp and grits which were were good. Husband had the Kobe sliders which were blah. About 1/2 way through my meal my wine glass was empty and we had no water. I waited a bit for our waiter to appear but when he did not I got up and went around the corner to find someone to get another glass of wine and some water for the table. When we left shortly after we noticed about 6+ service staff outside hanging out. For as slow as the restaurant was at the time we would have expected a little better service. Prices were high for the quality of food and service.

This restaurant is on our top 10 restaurants list for this area. Anyone that enjoys dining outside by the water will enjoy this restaurant and they have a wonderful gift shop that we enjoy taking visitors to.

Brad was very pleasant and attentive right at the start of a busy dinner hour. We began by sharing a lovely bottle of Storypoint Cab Sauvignon 2019 with fresh bread and a bowl of “Chowda.” We decided to share the fish of the day, grouper, with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and broccolini…amazing!

We were told by a couple staying at our hotel, that this was great place for seafood. We were seated immediately at a lovely Outside waterfront table. We ordered apps, then waiter came back to get our lunch order. We explained we’d order after we finished our apps. He said no worries he’d make sure the lunch order would come out after we finished our apps. Yup that’s right, food appeared in 5 minutes with no apps in sight. Waiter apologized but did nothing else. We looked at our blackened Grouper Tacos, the fish looked bright white. Tasted like boiled fish. Called waiter over, he said he’d ask the cook what’s up. Came back and said cook seasoned it with a blackened favor. Also supposed to be special hard corn shell, no soft flour?? Neither of us ate the grouper tacos, and the deviled egg potato salad. Potato only, no eggs, and no flavor. We ate the delicious apps though. Shrimp cocktail was cold, crisp and perfect. Fish spread equally delicious.
