Just a heads up .... The Wine bar was hit hard by hurricane Ian .... It's CLOSED. Too bad because it was a nice place . They say they will be re-opening ,but not in the near future.

Convenient lovely location for friends and family to share a light meal and great glass of wine.

Don't just drive by this unassuming location right before the bridge on the way to Englewood beach! Seating choices include an indoor bar, outdoor covered and open air waterfront seating. The staff was friendly and they even offer live music. Now for the best part. Seriously * delicious * food. Think world class delicious and a menu that is refreshingly different from the other beach restaurants. The beet salad? GET IT!! This isn't just about beets and you'd like it even if you didn't like beets. House made blackberry sangria? Just say "yes".Tonight's dinner for me was a thick cut pork loin over sweet, creamy grits with asparagus & hubby got the grouper tacos. Both ridiculously great. And that's not just the sangria talking. ?It's a little pricey at $25 - $40 per dinner entree, but you can order from the lunch menu all day as well if you want the same quality on a budget. Your taste buds will thank you either way.

My daughter and I came here on a very chilly December night. We wanted to sit outside near the boats and the pretty colored lights in the water. They lit the heater for us and gave us cozy, soft blankets for our laps. Although we went last year and I don't remember what we ate, I DO remember that the wine and the food were delicious. The server was excellent, too.

As long as the weather is good, this is an awesome restaurant. Food is outstanding and right on the water here in sunny Florida

Wine is superb. Nice people working at this restaurant. It seems very clean. Right near the beach too.

Great food, friendly staff, you can get there by boat. It's an outdoor bistro with minimal indoor seating so bring a jacket if cool weather is in the forecast. Beer and wine only. I loved the seared tuna.

We had a group of 20 dine here last night. What a wonderful dining experience! Drinks came quickly. Our server was extremely pleasant and helpful. The crab cakes and the burrata salad were both superb.

Food was good! Hostess and husband were very nice! Waiter had a great personality. Little pricey for portion. Shop is pricey and woman running it not very friendly. All in all nice place to try!

We eagerly anticipated dining at Beach Road for my husband’s birthday. Past meals were delicious. Our most recent visit was very disappointing. Our table was in the path of people entering and leaving the boat rental area. The table was not under an umbrella and the sun was in my eyes. Although our waiter was very personable he did not bring us bread or offer coffee or dessert. The ahi tuna appetizer was good but not exceptional. My grilled chicken was dry. The lemon risotto was good as was my husband’s salmon but not outstanding and certainly not worth the price. In addition my husband’s asparagus was tough and stringy. I doubt we will return to Beach Road when it reopens.

One of our favorite spots!! Delicious food. Gift shop is amazing. I don't need anything, but never come out empty handed.

I have no idea where to begin! Don't eat here! Stopping to get a bite to eat here after a beach day was one of biggest and worst mistakes we've ever made. A food truck and outside picnic tables does not constitute a restaurant. And exorbitant prices for apps and a main dish doesn't make you a bistro either. My husband asked for 2 sweet teas, and got 3, in a small plastic cup. It was the worst sweet tea we have ever had! Anything but sweet and tea. Fine restaurants would never serve in plastic. Needless to say, We paid the large tea bill and left as fast as possible. Ended up at a hometown Real restaurant and found out the owner had a similar experience at this outside picnic place. Plus, they knew others with similar stories. Lesson learned! Make sure to Look at the menu before walking in.

Delicious food and fun atmosphere for dock and dine experience. We took our boat to this resteraunt for a late Sunday lunch. Docking was easy and they had ropes already available to tie our boat. We ate outside at a table on the patio where we could see the water, the docks and listen to the live music- a man playing the guitar and singing. Atmosphere was lovely for a warm sunday afternoon. Our group ate Pulled pork sliders, grouper sandwich, fish tacos and the beet salad with giat cheese. Everything was delicious. We also had some nice sangia. overall a great experience. Will go back again!
