The service was great! The snapper had to be returned as it was not flaky (kind of rubbery). The French fries have no flavor at all (just my opinion). We sat inside at booth. Ambience was a bit blah.

Our family went to Farlow's on the water tonight to celebrate our granddaughters 15th birthday. The ambiance was great with perfect weather seated in the garden area and the live music was laid back and pleasant. We enjoyed drinks, appetizers, salads and entrees which were all perfect. Our granddaughter also finished with the mint brownie ice cream pie which she devoured. Our appetizers were beef tenderloin sliders, Coconut shrimp and French onion soup. The entrees were St. johns marinated steak, St. Johns steak salad, Steak au poivre with scallops and a rack of slow roasted Cuban style ribs which were all well prepared and delicious. I did have a Voodoo juice island rum cocktail and it was delicious and potent. Our service was Mea R. and she was the best waitress I think we have ever had. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, personable and she had everything timed perfectly. We will be back soon for sure.

The food was delicious. My husband got the mahi with pineapple salsa and chose sides of couscous and the baked sweet potato. I got the coconut shrimp from the appetizer list with steamed broccoli. The rolls were great too For dessert we got th pina colada cheese cake. Not so great. Our service was great as well. Wish we had found this place at the beginning of our vacation and we would have eaten there another night as well.
Farlow's is are favorite restaurant, food is always cooked perfectly and the drinks are always made with plenty of alcohol... staff is always pleasant, can't say enough good things about Farlow's, we recommend to all of our friends...

Their management could be more considerate and understanding towards customers questions about orders. Poor management leads to people not wanting ti go to that restaurant

Zee was our waitress at Farlows. Her demeanor was so pleasant, she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was 10/10, phenomenal. Absolutely recommend the mussels (and saving the leftover broth to pour over and dip literally anything). We had triggerfish with fontina bacon grits and a Caribbean themed platter with shrimp stuffed with blue crab and hollandaise, scallops and grouper. I wish I had room for dessert. Thank you for providing us a wonderful meal and atmosphere for our vacation.
