If you're short staffed and don't want to work on small orders during non- busy hours I get it, but tell me that when I try to place the order, or failing that, when I show up apologize to me for the inconvenience and be honest it's best I cancel or come back way later. Don't lie to me again suggesting you're willing to do something you're clearly not. Otherwise, it would've been done or at the very least started already.Called ahead to order 1 sub and mozzarella sticks at 3:20pm on a Friday. Guy said it will be ready in 25 minutes (3:45). Then I show up in 20 minutes (3:40) and the place looks closed. There's no sign of any life that the kitchen is operational and there's only one employee there and he is surprised to see me. I say I'm a little early and he looks at a ticket and says you're a lot early I said 35 minutes (which would've been 3:55) so it won't be ready until 4:10 (which is 50 minutes from when I actually ordered). Unless you want to cancel it he says. Given how dormant it is I have no confidence they would actually start my order by 4:10 yet alone have it ready by then, so I cancel it and you can tell he's relieved.

FINALLY!! I just moved to Florida from New Haven Ct. This is by far the closest I have found to pizza in New Haven. Nice and thin with great flavor. It's a good thing I live 30 minutes away or I would find myself there a little too much.
