I went here on July 16th best omelette I ever had…. Best experience ever has the best waitress she was on point for sure!!!

We had breakfast, and the omelet was so thick and dry, with no flavor. Potatoes were the same. They were nice about it and only charged me $1.00 plus my OJ.

I’m in Englewood because my pap is passing away. He always came here so my dad and I came to have breakfast at one of his favorite places. While here the service was atrocious even for during a rush. Complaints from staff of the normal “no one wants to work” only to immediately after a group of regulars left (staff advised they come EVERY MORNING) proceed to complain and insult the party of 7 people loudly and in a manner I would only save for my enemies including name calling. I said something to them as we were leaving only to be met with excuses about how they complain every day about OTHER ESTABLISHMENTS. I reminded them that even though the complained those complainers still CHOOSE to come to this place. More excuses for their bad behavior before we left never to return. My pap would be so disappointed if he knew how people were talked about after he spent his time and money there so many times. Great food but horrible attitude and staff.

Kid-friendliness: The service is excellent. The servers treat you like family and are extremely accommodating. The food is really good. My little guy has enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs and hot dog and french fries with a pickle. We won't ever stop going here, it's our favorite.

My husband and I literally just left there without eating. The food was awful. I ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs were not only not poached they were cooked completely through. My husbands food was ice cold. Yes, we mentioned it to the server who only said she would let the cook know about it. Thanks. We drove here to Englewood from Harbor Heights for this garbage. The party of 20 to our right that ordered after us was clearly more important. When we went to go pay we were asked again how the food was. I said it was horrible. The girl who apparently was also a supervisor asked me if I told the server...ummm..YEAH. She then continued to press some buttons on the register not acknowledging anything at all about the situation, it was only when I mentioned that not only did the food suck that Ive never seen a restaurant so unwilling to do anything about it. After I left she told my husband to let me know she was taking care of it. I highly doubt that. It took my getting angry for her to do anything.This is unacceptable. From start to finish this is hands down the worst experience I have ever had a restaurant and I used to work in one. Our seever should have addressed the issue at the table when she was told about it. If you can't handle big parties then you shouldn't take them because I'm pretty sure our experience was impacted by a group of 20 people that we had nothing to do with. You couldn't pay me to come back there and I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to waste their time when Denny's is right across the street.
